Aurora Blaine was a bit surprised by Mrs. Han's call. She paused for a moment before responding, "Madam."
Wyatt Ainsworth and Autumn Blaine sat nearby. Upon hearing this, they guessed who the phone call was from. They exchanged glances and kept quiet, allowing Aurora to take the call properly.
Mrs. Han's voice came through again, "Has your injury healed?"
"It's healed, thank you for your concern, Madam," Aurora replied.
Mrs. Han: "Do you have some time in the next few days? We should talk."
Though Mrs. Han asked if Aurora had time, her words hardly left room for refusal.
Aurora remembered Wyatt's previous words, "Okay."
"Come see me on Christmas Day," Mrs. Han gave Aurora an address and added, "This is a secret between us. Please don't tell Maverick Knight, alright?"
Aurora felt that every word from Mrs. Han was posed as a question, yet it was in no way an inquiry. Aurora had already experienced Mrs. Han's aura.
