Once the Atrean-style boat rushed straight onto the beach, it seemed to have fulfilled its mission and became no different from an ordinary small sailboat.
Aiven, somewhat unwilling, searched the boat repeatedly, and only after confirming there was nothing unusual, did he reluctantly abandon it and leap onto the shore.
He glanced around.
The calm sea, the dead silent wind, and the desert that seemed to have been completely drained of its last drop of moisture.
The sand and rocks forming the desert in front of him appeared particularly coarse, possibly due to their lack of any external abrasion. Aiven could even feel their uneven edges through the hard soles of his boots.
There was no doubt that this was an extremely hostile barren region unwelcoming to life.
