A low growl emitted from the throat, and suddenly a bright silver agile figure flashed through the primeval forest, quickly spotted by the soldiers on duty who had long reversed their routines.
Just as the spotlight locked onto it, the Crowman commander, as the officer, suddenly waved his hand:
"Open fire!"
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!...
The soldiers, dressed in leather coats and wearing enchanted wind-proof goggles, lifted their firearms which were already in an activated state; the orange-red muzzle flashes lit up simultaneously, and the lead bullets streaked with faint white light stormed to block the space where the figure would evade.
One bullet grazed its hind leg, another hit its spine.
