When they are about to enter the barrier of instructor Mei, Li notice that someone is lurking around but he think that it was only a normal rabbit and proceed to the barrier with Heng. Ah Cy immediately ask Heng what were they talking about with that mask boy, his response was a bit hesitated and he make up a story and said that they were talking about Li's hometown.
Ah Cy was disappointed and depressed where it makes Heng and Li feel sorry for her but they have no choice and pretend that they only know his hometown information. Then a sudden crash of lightning strike on the barrier of instructor Mei they were all startled.
When they saw it other students make a terrified expression and some are nervous. Instructor Hui Ying give a hand to instructor Mei and she help increasing the barrier both of them have earth element but they have also one element. Still they can't attack because they want the safety of the students.
Li click his tongue he thought he lessened the spirit beasts where he tried to sacrifice his self to kill them all but they all seen that there were still a bunch of spirit beasts and rank in low tier C,D,E, and normal tier A and B.

A bunch of spirit beasts are attacking the barrier their rank is easy for them to beat it but their numbers are greater. Students still wants to live and they are eager to beat those spirit beasts. Even if the numbers of the spirit beasts are decreasing, students are easily being drained using all of their skills.
"All of you! continue to attack those low tier spirit beasts and I will deal with those normal tier spirit beasts."
Ah Cy, Heng and the students cooperate with him, Li strive hard doing his best, killing the normal tiers spirit beasts. The one who were watching him was amazed because Li easily killed those spirit beasts but it make him hard to fight while there is a barrier. Li ask instructor Mei to open a path for him to go out and attack outside.
Instructor Mei was a bit worried and Li said that he should trust him. He sigh and opened a path for the mask boy then Li went out, he leaped and killed the spirit beast one by one by his ice sword, slashing them apart. Ah Cy who was watching was also amazed by the mask boy actions and feel like she want to help too. Ah Cy went out also and help the mask boy where she use her ice sword and slash the spirit beasts.
"Hey! why did you go out. Just stay inside and help those guys, also just let me handle this."
"What are you talking about, seeing a comrade who is fighting alone make me feel sad that's why from this day I want to help."
"(This girl... her attitude change since she think that I'm dead. Sigh... anyway I also want to see how strong she is.)"
As they continue to fight those spirit beasts, both of them feel like they were good duo, Li as a mask boy praise Ah Cy but she ignored the compliment. He became irritated and didn't care anymore so he left her and went further to kill the rampaging spirit beasts. Ah Cy notice it and followed him, the two of them argued again while Heng was watching them and he was thinking that both of them are really good friends. Two of them heard it and shout like they didn't care to each other, Heng back off quietly and deal with the low tier spirit beasts.
Ah Cy and the mask boy(Li) continued to kill and at the other side the students are bit losing their energy. The two instructors can only watch but they are doing their best to suppress the other blunt attacks of the spirit beasts where they are aiming the barrier. They can't just give up because they don't want to be outwitted by an outer stranger boy who can easily kill a normal tier spirit beasts.
From Ah Cy's side, she was nearing at her limit because she was too tired after battling the other normal tier beasts. She bit her lips while saying in her mind that she was just a burden to the mask boy but when remembering the sacrifice of Li she shake her head and focus on her objectives. Li the mask boy saw her status, he sigh and stop Ah Cy then told her to rest a little bit because he doesn't want to see a girl who is exhausted fighting a spirit beasts that can only lead into death.
Ah Cy didn't know that she was showing a appearance of being tired because she was too focus in the battle and she wasn't expecting that the mask boy was worried at her. It make her a bit happy but she slightly slap her chick's while Li was confused why she did that.
'Pant... Pant... umm... thanks for worrying but I can't stop right now when I saw someone who his fighting by his own.'
'Sigh... such silly girl...'
Hearing that Ah Cy was irritated and pout angrily at him then after killing the low tier spirit beasts she saw a three normal tier wind wolf, rushing on her. Ah Cy didn't evade the quick strike and she was scratch a little bit on her arm. The mask boy(Li) saw it and got angry, he used his shadow skill to quicken his movements and went to kill the wind wolf by his ice word. Li sigh it was good that the two instructor didn't saw it that includes the students but he was thinking that his plan will be over because he show his shadow element in front of Ah Cy.
