"Don't let your guard down. Even for a second." Kakashi said not taking his eyes off of Zabuza.
"Kakashi the copy ninja, it will be a pleasure taking your head," Zabuza said, pointing his sword at Kakashi.
"Sir, give the order, we can take him." One of the chunin said, looking to Kakashi for his signal.
"Don't make a move. He is not a normal ninja that you can hope to take on." Kakashi said, trying to stress the situation.
"We need to work together if we want to stand a chance at defeating him." Kalashi then said, trying to come up with a strategy.
"Should we start the fun?" Zabuza suddenly yelled, lifting his right arm into the air while making a hand sign with the other.
"Oh no..." Kakashi said, already knowing what was about to happen thanks to his Sharingan.
"Hidden mist jutsu," Zabuza said, creating a thick mist that covered the area around him, spreading out over a wider range before it enveloped Kakashi and the others.
"Back-to-back formation, now!" Kakashi yelled, having read up on Zabuza's information in the bingo book already.
"He's an expert in the silent killing art, this mist is like his home," Kakashi said, feeling uneasy about this.
"It's so thick, I can't see anything."
"Where the hell did he go?" Others said, trying their best to remain calm.
Everything went quiet for a moment, with no one saying anything trying to use their other senses to predict what was going to happen.
However, Zabuza was so skilled in the art of silent killing that he was easily able to get behind a group of low-level chunin, going completely unnoticed by all of them until it was too late.
"Arghh!" They yelled as Zabuza cut them down with ease, using his executioner's blade to cut through them like a hot knife through butter.
"We need to do something about this mist!" Kakashi said, hearing the cries of his fallen subordinates, causing him to grow even more tense.
"Don't you worry, Kakashi... Once I'm done with them, I'm coming for you!" Zabuza's voice said, echoing through the mist giving Kakashi a tough time trying to pinpoint it.
"Behind us!" Kakashi suddenly yelled, feeling a small tingling in the back of his neck, his body telling him that he was in danger.
Kakashi turned around at the last second, being able to duck under the swipe of Zabuzas's sword, dodging it by the length of a few strands of his hair.
Kakashi was quick to pull his own kunai, going for a counterattack with a slash across the chest, feeling his kunai connect.
Got him! Kakashi thought, using his Sharingan to try and see through the mist.
Zabuza's body fell back from the attack, only to burst into water, causing Kakashi to put all of his senses on overdrive, knowing he was about attack again.
"Did you really think that would work!" Zabuza yelled, swinging his sword right through Kakashi, cutting him in half.
However, Kakashi wouldn't go down so easily either, having already copied Zabuza's water clone jutsu and switched out with it.
I can't waste any time messing around with this guy, I've gotta go all out from the start. Kakashi said to himself, watching from the shadows before he launched his counterattack.
"Fire style, fireball jutsu!" Kakashi said, forming the hand signs and shooting the large ball of fire from his mouth.
Zabuza could see the fireball even through the mist as the heat it was giving off was enough to disperse it.
"You think that will work on me!" Zabuza said, taking his sword in both hands before he slashed it down, swinging it with such force that he was able to slice the fireball in half, letting it pass him by on either side harmlessly.
"Now!" Kakashi yelled, giving the signal for the others to attack.
Zabuza watched in surprise as a group of the other leaf ninja launched a counterattack, throwing a barrage of shuriken at him from one side, with another two of them shooting two more fireballs.
Three others charge forwards with their weapons drawn to attack head-on at the same time, hoping to catch Zabuza off guard.
"Cheap tricks won't work," Zabuza said before he tossed his sword with a powerful throw, aiming it towards the oncoming attackers.
"No way, he was able to throw a sword that big with such ease?" One of them said as he and the other had no choice but to jump over it to avoid being cut in half.
Zabuza dashed forward before he jumped from side to side, avoiding the fireballs with ease as he closed the distance between him and the chunin Leaf ninja, taking them by surprise.
"Look out!" One of them shouted, cutting down towards Zabuza's head with his own short sword in an attempt to take his head off.
But, Zabuza was much too quick and much more skilled than a group of low-level Chunin, proving as much as he burst through them with a display of powerful taijutsu.
Avoiding the slash with a sidestep, Zabuza grabbed the first one with a fish hook to his mouth before slamming his head into the ground hard enough force to disturb the earth with his head.
Zabuza found himself surrounded by another three of them now, not messing around as he kicked one in the chest with a front kick, knocking him flying through the air from the force.
The other two attacked, one of them thrusting forwards with a kunai in hand, while the other dashed around Zabuzas back, hoping to attack his blind spot.
However, Zabuza was not so easy. Quickly Zabuza sidestepped again, dodging the kunai thrust, grabbing his attacker's wrist before twisting and disarming the Leaf ninja.
Next Zabuza dropped onto one knee as he kicked out his leg, breaking the Leaf ninja's knee with ease before blocking the attack from behind with the kunai, doing all of this in an instant with smooth transition.
"Oh, crap!" The Leaf ninja said, knowing that he was about to die as he looked into the demon's eyes, watching as Zabuza lunged toward him.
Kakashi was watching from the sidelines, seeing that Zabuza was easily handing the chunin their arses, knowing that this was his chance to counter.
"Now. This will end it." Kakashi said, making a few quick hand signs before holding the palm of his hand up, letting it fill with lighting-style chakra.
"Lightening blade!"
The sound of lightning flashed through the air, causing everyone to cast their gaze upon it.
"That's Kakashi's signature attack." One of the other Leaf ninja said, watching the display of raw lightning-style chakra.
Zabuza had just finished off the other Leaf chunin, using the kunai he had taken from the other, plunging it into the boy's chest as he looked into his eyes with no remorse.
"Now!" Kakashi said, knowing he had to use the sacrifices of the others to take this opportunity and finish it.
"What powerful chakra," Zabuza said, watching as Kakashi moved almost as fast as lightning itself toward him, doing the only thing he could, seeing that his sword was flying through the air back toward him.
"Lightening blade!" Kakashi roared, using his Sharingan to guide his attack, feeling it make contact with Zabuzas's body as he landed a direct hit.
"I got you now!" Kakashi said, trying to see what was going on through the sparks of electricity with his Sharingan.
"Is that right?" Zabuza said, taking Kakashi by surprise.
"No way... He can use lightning style too!" Kakashi said, seeing that Zabuza had been able to counter his thrust attack with his sword, enhanced with lightning-style chakra to counter it.
"That's a nice jutsu you got there, perfect for killing with," Zabuza said with a smile before he pushed Kakashi away, taking a swipe at him with his sword.
Kakashi was still stunned but was able to lean back far enough that Zabuzas blade passed right over him.
He can stream his chakra into his sword, giving it enough power to resist my lightning blade. Kakashi thought as he prepared to defend against another of Zabuza's attacks.
Zabuza let his lightning style fade from his blade, swinging it with great force in a flurry of attacks, each with precision and timing that only a truly skilled shinobi would possess.
Kakashi quickly pulled out a kunai and used it to deflect Zabuza's attacks, each of them clashing in a flurry of kenjutsu also noticing that he had let his lighting-style chakra fade from his sword.
Thanks to Kakashi's Sharingan he was able to keep up with Zabuza, even pushing on the advantage as he blocked a downward swing, trapping the sword against the ground with his foot and pushing his free hand against the hilt of the blade to wedge it in place.
However, Zabuza wasn't such a fool that he would let someone disarm him. Using the sword to hold his weight he used his whole body to deliver a powerful kick that landed in Kakashi's gut, knocking him flying through the air before he hit the ground, sliding across it.
Darn it, he's so strong. Kakashi said to himself, not sure how he was going to deal with such an opponent while he slowly climbed back onto his feet.
"I've got you now!" Zabuza suddenly said, appearing behind Kakashi, once again taking him off guard.
"Kakashi, look out!" One of the remaining chunin yelled, landing next to him as he blocked Zabuza's attack with his sword.
The other had flanked Zabuza, appearing behind him as he formed a variety of hand signs before placing his hands on the ground.
"Earth style, earth trap jutsu!"
The ground itself suddenly came alive as it grabbed Zabuza's legs, trapping him in place while it worked its way up his thighs.
"Now Kakashi, take him out!" The chunin who was trying to hold him back said, feeling as if his shoulders were about to give out.
"Why you!" Zabuza yelled, growing angry having fallen for such a jutsu.
Kakashi nodded, letting his lightning blade burst to life once more as he stood to his feet.
Zabuza tried to fight the earth style as it crept up his body still holding him in place. However, with his sword locked in a battle with another, he was unable to try to break free, knowing if he did the chunin would attack him directly.
"darn, it!" Zabuza yelled as the lightning crackled around Kakashi's hand, knowing that this time he wouldn't be able to deflect the attack.
"That fear in your eyes. That's the same fear that my men had when you cut them down, Zabuza." Kakashi said.
"Now, it's your turn!" He yelled as he dashed forwards, aiming his lightning blade for his chest.
"Nooo!!!" Zabuza yelled, trying to struggle one last time, thrashing about as he tried to break out of the jutsu.
"Lightning blade!"
