AS Astrid watched the two grown men act like a pair of kids, the Emperor suddenly stood up and turned his gaze to him.
"Since these two are busy bickering with each other, why don't you take a walk with me in my garden?" the Emperor said with a smile. "Astrid."
Astrid blinked, caught off guard by the sudden invitation. Wulfric and Valentine looked just as surprised, making it clear that neither of them had expected this either.
"Why do you want to walk alone with Aster?" Wulfric asked, his tone full of suspicion. He looked like he was ready to grab Astrid and leave if the Emperor didn't give him a good enough answer.
"Mr. Mighty General," Valentine drawled, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Why do you talk like Cyn is going to kidnap your little boyfriend?"
Wulfric turned to Davis, glaring at him. "Shut up. I wasn't asking you."
