Autor’s Note

And we have reached the end. They don't know how much it cost me. I have written the ending and edited it like a thousand times, something inside me was shouting at me "let it go", but I couldn't. I want to continue talking more about this character. I really love it.

Maybe it's not the ending that many expected. But after the accident (which is what really happened) and Adam's death, it is the end that leaves us open to questions for the next one.

And yes, it is the most beautiful ending for Dominick. He was a psychopath and it wouldn't be very real to tell you "Dom was cured by the love he had for Emily, having sex and starting his family", that doesn't happen in real life. This is his end, believing that he killed the woman of his life, his brother and his son and living the eternal loop. Since a mental problem like yours has NO cure.

The other characters had their end. Although they stopped talking about them, we could see that their relationship was going well. That should be enough for them. If I continued talking about them, I wouldn't want to end the story.

And shit; I didn't know it was so hard to let go of a character who gave you so many good things. How to bring them closer to you, get to know each other.

It bothers me a lot when I start reading a story and one of the protagonists has a mental illness (depression, anxiety, insomnia, OCD, etc.).

But, don't get it wrong. I don't mind the fact that the story touches on those themes, what bothers me is that the authors sometimes have no idea what it is like and still write it.

Things like: He/she had depression and anxiety, but he/she appeared and is no longer here.

Or also the famous one, he kidnapped me and now I fell in love. Or else, he's a psychopath, he loves me and I love that. NO! THAT IS NOT SO!

Depression is not something that can be cured with love, in fact it often begins with disappointment in love or lack of family love. Not only is "I have no friends and I'm shy" it's much more than that.

Anxiety and insomnia are symptoms of depression and many other mental disorders, so we should not normalize or minimize them when in real life it is very complicated to deal with.

Psychopathy is something very dangerous and complex and in reality a psychopath would not even hesitate to destroy his goal. Additionally, a psychopath is usually shown to be kind and generous in getting victims, not the damn alpha male with tattoos.

Disorders such as OCD, BPD, APD among others are so complex that they can even have several other mental illnesses.

And yes, I know that many of these stories are only for the purpose of entertainment and nothing more, but remember that there are several who read that, believing it to be true and are left with that idea.

It's like a mockery of psychology. They don't even know what real therapy is like or the exact medications.

This is just my personal opinion. But as a connoisseur and writer, it's annoying to see them touch on those topics as if they were anything.

Thank you really for joining me and living this tragic adventure with me. I promise to explain everything to you in the final season, and even if it destroys me I will only remember that I did this with you. They make me happy.

Karma exists:).

Thank you very much for coming this far. I love them.❤ ️ I see you soon, in the place where it all started.
