Whilst Batman was with Clint;
Bucky found himself in a sterile interrogation room, seated before a psychiatrist. He had thankfully been absolved of the UN bombing however no one had forgotten the numerous assassinations accredited to his name.
A lot of voices were calling for him to be dumped in some dark hole for everything to be done with but Steve had intervened. Even in the midst of everything Steve had intervened and that was how he ended up here.
'This would help huh', at that thought Bucky focused on the man before him. He supposed he looked average, he was speaking.
Bucky could tell that much from the way the man's lips were moving, but he was so lost in his thought he failed to register the words. As he continued to focus on the man however he realized the strange expression on his face.
As he began to focus however he heard a familiar string of words but by the time Bucky put it all together his mind was no longer his.

Alarm bells rung through out the entire building causing Tony to curse out.
It was shocking enough to hear Clint say their mysterious attacker was Bats, now the Manchurian candidate was apparently on the loose could this day get any worse.
Steve immediately grabbed his Shield, "I'm going after Bucky with Sam, the two of you get to Batman. I'm sure there is a misunderstanding but we can't let this escalate further".
With a nod the two groups split up each rushing to deal with the situation.
Batman on the other hand had just taken a turn only to run into another group who all had their weapons trained at him. With a frown he let loose a smoke bomb, as the group fired their guns in a desperate but failed attempt to hit him.
Whereas Batman did what he did best, relying on the smoke he closed the distance and began to disarm his assailants before taking them out as swiftly as possible. With each scream that resounded the fear in the hearts of the officers grew.
They had rushed here fully intent on dealing with the Batman, but it was only when they were face to face him did they realize just how outmatched they were. In all but a few seconds the smoke cleared to reveal the Batman with his forearm on the throat of one officer with the rest of the officers sprawled in alarming positions.
The last officer standing locked eyes with the Batman and leapt back pointing his rifle at him pressing on the trigger, but he was met with a constant clicking sound.
"Come on. come on" He muttered as he furiously slapped his gun in an attempt to get the weapon working once more. When his eye left his weapon however, he came to the horrifying realization that the Batman was right in front of him.
His weapon was yanked out of his hands before it was slammed into his head with such force that everything instantly went black.
Batman looked down at the officer who had now collapsed to his side and dropped the gun to continue his journey. Passing through another hallway he leapt through the glass wall and into the hall below, the few guards who saw him moved to aim their weapons at him but were met with a pulse that swept them off their feet.
Sparing but a glance he made it out of the building and called for the Batwing when he heard the all too familiar sounds.
Moments later both Tony and Rhodey both in their armors dropped right in front of him, with War Machine's shoulder cannons aimed at him, "Going somewhere Bats"
"I don't have time for this" Batman spoke up as he leveled a glare at them.
"Make time." Rhodey spoke out tense, "Banner and Nat are down, and the kid... God what happened to the kid."
A moment of silence passed between the three before Batman spoke up, "high-frequency localized electrical pulses that disrupt the body's natural bioelectrical signals. It was specifically designed to target Quicksilver's super-accelerated brain-to-body communication, the disruption causes wild, uncontrollable spasms — basically making his own super-speed nervous system betray him."
"Shit" Rhodey cursed as the full picture of what the kid was going through was finally laid out before him.
"So you did this" Ironman's voice was cold devoid of his usual humor his suit whining as repulsors primed, with clenched fist a single question escaped his lips, "why?"
"Contingencies. Safeguards. The Avengers were formed to combat against the greatest threats to humanity but lets be honest, the Avengers are the greatest threat to humanity. All it takes is one bad day, and humanity could experience devastation like never before.
You've recently come to realize the same thing haven't you Stark. That's why you are all of a sudden rushing to sign those accords, rushing to put your fate in the hands of the very people you can't even trust with your technology.
Unlike you I realized this threat earlier and took measures should that day ever come to pass".
"LOOK AROUND YOU!" Tony screamed out after hearing those words, "don't you dare speak like you are justified you betrayed our trust. You were one of us we trusted you and you go ahead and do this. No you don't get to do that now... now I'm bringing you in"
With that the tension, like an overdrawn rubber band snapped.

Alright guys I was going to make another excuse, a reason as to why I have been unable to keep up with the timelines I set myself.
But you guys deserve some honesty, I have a lot of plot ides running through my head both fanfics and originals. Heck I am even working on a secret project I'll probably launch at the end of this year or more realistically January next year.
Truth is with the way my mind works and adulting as a whole well, honestly I might have just quit my job if not because of bills.
But hey you guys are not here for my rants and I don't want to make anymore empty promises so I am just going to leave you with this.
I am not abandoning this story and keep your eyes peeled for the next chapters time I brought this arc to an end. I've delayed long enough already.
