"I think I would rather finish my conversation with Miss Clover,"
Coulson spoke strictly to Salvatore, nodding slightly as he glanced at Avalon seeing her unbothered stare hiding the true emotions, frightened that they would see Sandel's small flames curling in her hair. That they would see the way her eyes glowed her body burned more than a normal human. The way her tattoos are trying to hold back their faint glow. Salvatore smirked as he stared at Agent Coulson, his hand firmly on Avalon,
"If you want to talk with her it will be after hours no offense we work a lot...not that you would know that your agencies would know that Agent, Coulson,"
Salvatore told her with a mocking edge that made the agent flinch, she stared back at him not hiding the irritation in her gaze being so close to having some tangible answers. Then he decided to have his own conversation, taking away her chance to find answers. Agent Coulson glared at him as a warning of sorts.
"Offense taken Mister Dagda however I will need to talk with her still,"
Salvarote let go of Avalon stepping in front of her and with a small grin noticeable to them, he was strained he wanted them to fall for the trick, letting them talk with him as Avalon walked away but the agent kept her gaze on Avalon with her men behind her, keeping her there.
"And why is that? I believe you already have what you wanted, she told you of the warehouse of the clones. Of my son. The beam what more could you possibly want to ask is it because you've found dead ends that lead to nothing Agent Coulson?"
Salvatore motioned his hand to sort of a point to the agent, she stopped a fiery glare from appearing and gave him a stern frown, her hands shaking holding her jacket with one hand, the other lingered near her hip, by her taser. Agent Coulson clears her throat holding her head high,
"Because she's in the center of all this odd anomaly and I've been assigned to look into her,"
"You have, haven't you Agent Coulson? Looking into my company asking anyone with a plus and then cornering my employees with questions. Other than finding your answers through my systems,"
"You know I have every right to question them a waver and all Mister Dagda, you can be as frustrated and peeved, but I get to question her,"
Agent Coulson's gaze went to Avalon her gaze steely on her, agent Coulson stepped closer to Salvatore, she glared up at him her voice a hushed whisper, "I will talk with her later after you have placed yourself in front of me, to stop me from finding out what's happening in this city. Around her,"
Agent Coulson's gaze slits. Her anger could be felt through her gaze as Salvatore stiffened in instinct, his brown stern hues didn't leave Coulson's brown even as she shifted peering over his side at Avalon,
"I will let go, it seems your boss is more lenient on letting me know what's been happening in this place,"
Agent Coulson peered at the agents behind Avalon motioning them to let Avalon go, they glanced between the three listening to them, they reluctantly let Avalon go while Coulson turned her gaze back to him he stilled, and she muttered in a chilling tone,
"I will talk with you in your office please show me the way,"
Savator undeterred gives her a sheepish grin "Im sure you know where my office is you've been there before...just this time knock,"
Agent Coulson glared at Salvatore and turned away, her blistering angry form walking down the hallway with her agents following her stead keeping their gaze on them before leaving the hallway, Salvatore's smile went off his face as he stared at Avalon with a mix of dread and an underlying sense of worry. Not for him but her. He reached holding her elbow, and Avalon was dazed from talking with them. That's what he thought but her eyes were on him but her mind was on Sandel, her peaceful quiet voice spoke kindly, soft to Avalon's weary soul,
"They proceeded to know more than they had led on with,"
"She looked in the warehouse, she found the clones there in their habitat she knew of the gangs but not the angels that run them, that far she doesn't know,"
Avalon hesitated not feeling Salvatore touching her arm trying to catch her attention, it led to nothing Avalon stared far off with snippets of flames flowing within her hair, mixing with her orange hair with her eyes dazed but glowing.
"Agent Coulson was persistent and spoke as if she knew of what we have been through of what leakers are behind the crime walls, Avalon. Didn't you feel that two something... doesn't feel right,"
Avalon daze glazed moved to where the agent went as a sinking feeling came into her, "I believe it's her trying to find out what is really happening to angels puptering humans. But importantly she doesn't know of you she might believe im some sort of clone, if not she has hunches,"
"Hunches that will lead her to us, to you..to me Avalon,"
When Sandel said her name with another voice behind it, a shake from her body well its what it felt like that is when she felt the hand ar her arms shaking her Avalon dazed stare went stern, she looked at Salvatore seeing him stare back into her silver hues, his brown eyes held so much counser she thought it would spill out, and it did.
"Avalon, are you listening to me kiddo?"
Avalon let out a breathy chuckle she placed his hand off her arms with a strained smile Avalon answered him, "Now I am Sal,"
"Good, I was worried you got stuck in your mind, in your thoughts getting lost in them,"
"I wasn't lost in memories rather I was talking with Sandel, thanks for taking the brunt of that forceful agent, she listened to my answers but she kept pushing asking what I told her was mostly the truth it, i didn't tell her about,"
Avalon glanced at the flames licking her shoulders the warmth from it soothed her, even if it was slight. Avalon saw Salvatore sigh in relief, he nods with a faint frown, his eyebrows forward with a stern glower on his face,
"That's good. Avalon this is far more treacherous than we have thought, they know something isn't right here, that we might be doing something illegal"
Salvaotre grunted peering over the hallway corner, thinking he heard someone coming with hush voices moving through the vast building walls, Avalon and Salvatore stopped hearing agent Coulson's incensed voice, Salvatore held back a scoff while Avalon stared blindly at the hallway her gaze narrowed, when Salvatore pushed at her slightly making her take a step back. Salvatore gave her one of his signature smiles,
"You go on your day alright and be sure not to be in your office by the night they might be scavenging around looking for you tonight, i wouldn't be shocked if they go to your house searching for more clues, what you are or who we work with,"
Salvatore's hand moved through her hair and felt the flames flickering around his hands not burning him but warming his hand he smiled brightly at her,
"Now go kiddo i expected to have that work done early alright?"
"So no slacking off or losing track of time?"
Avalon asked her teasingly with a nonchalant expression, Salvatore chuckled patting her shoulder with a meek smile, he walked away from Avalon his suit jacket blowing behind him as he turned the corner taking one last glance at her before disappearing into the next hallway, Avalon stood still when a flame from her hair moved sentient. She leaned into Avalon's ear, saying,
"He's not wrong we will have to deal with them again it's just a matter of when they want to pestering us,"
Avalon turned and walked away from the hallway heading to her office, leaning into Sandel Avalon whispers,
"Figures they would anyway, I was hoping they would keep asking me questions so I wouldn't have to finish the paperwork Salvatore left me,"
Sandel let out a hearty chuckle holding onto her neck, Avalon stepped into the next hallway, people taking either aggressive to plain conversations, Avalon's silver peepers swanned the hallway as she walked through it, Avalon felt someone bumping into her again but it was Luke staring at her anxiously. His hand jittering over his bag while his blue eyes examine her, checking if they decided to have a more tactical method, Luke stepped back with his expression stiff,
"I see they asked you already?"
"Yeah they have it was more of an ego or a battle of wills but, it was a losing one,"
"They didn't get physical did they, I wouldn't try with you anyway,"
Avalon felt the ends of her lips curl up into a smile of sorts while she stared at Luke fondly, Luke tried to stop the heat from his face, as he gave her a faint grin,
"No they haven't tried that on me yet,"
Avalon chuckled when she noticed him getting serious all of a sudden he stiffened and took her arm pulling her arm, Avalon stared at him confused her eyes squinted, and she opened her mouth to say, Luke gave her a subtle glance stopping her, They went down the hallway they saw more agents in the hallway to his office,
