Luotian drastically gained more weight as they fought due to his other clone collecting more and more souls from the monsters.
The extra weight was reaching this body from the work being done in the forest. Sikong Wang could see the man in front of him, but not the source of the change.
Luotian had to manage that strength in the exchange already underway. The movements he used to evade still needed to place him clear of the sword and the mark it carried. More weight would make a hit harder; it did not make being in the wrong place useful.
He watched each slash for the position it offered the elder next.
