Feng Luotian's spinning blades met Sparrow Lord's Lightning Blast. He had swept them around himself because he could not be certain of the attack's direction; now the blast struck Nightspark before it could land directly on his body.
Protective Charm reduced part of the damage, while Nightspark took the brunt of the attack. The noble silver weapon's light and dark elements could partially subdue the incoming lightning: both stood one tier above it. The blades therefore did more than put a solid weapon between Luotian and the blast. Their elements worked against the lightning as the force drove into them.
At the same time, Pinnacle Flash Lightning had some lightning resistance as well, not to mention that Phantom Constitution also provided him with a lot of strength. Neither effect worked alone. The charm, his bloodline's resistance, the strength gained under the shadow, and the weapon in his hands all contributed to keeping the blast from finishing him.
