Another two weeks had passed since the Feather Ranking Competition.
While others were carrying out his quests, Feng Luotian visited Peacock Pavilion every day and asked Peacock Lord if there was any large-scale raid mission.
To advance any further in cultivation, he needed to collect the souls of one hundred Talon Realm Warriors. A raid involving that many warriors was hardly an everyday assignment, and no suitable mission had come up yet.
Despite his frustration over this stagnation, he could not go on a rampage and kill any Talon Warrior he found to collect their soul. His need to advance did not make strangers guilty of anything. Frustrating as the delay was, he still had principles; he would not throw away his humanity to clear a cultivation requirement.
Nevertheless, he became restless as the army might be knocking on their doors any of these days. The order First Elder and Wei Ci received said to attack the city within three months, and today might be the day.
