Shadow of Darkness looming in the sky turned into a huge black box that surrounded both Xiu Yao and Feng Luotian and enveloped the entire arena. Now, no one was able to see what happened with the match.
Inside the box, Luotian lost every way of sensing his surroundings. He could not see, hear, or detect anything.
There was no view of the wall he needed to reach, no outline of Xiu Yao moving through the darkness. The arena had been full of impacts, light, and movement a moment before. Now none of those gave him a usable direction or warning.
Even after detonating his Theríon to illuminate the place, he still could not see anything but darkness. Theríon Sonar failed as well.
He had tried both illumination and a method that did not depend on ordinary sight. Neither returned the information he needed. The darkness remained unchanged to him, making even the simplest decision—where to move without meeting the next attack—difficult.
An explanation came to him: This is Dark Casket?!
