Both of them were fast in executing their moves. Koffing started with 'Poison armor', and shiny Koffing used 'Will-o-Wisp'. The 'Will-O-Wisp' directly went towards Koffing, which it dodged perfectly, and then it started to use the move 'Heat wave'.
To counter it, shiny Koffing used the move 'Smog'. A purple gas came out of its mouth. The purpose of this move was not to poison Koffing but to hinder its sight. Koffing also used the move 'Stockpile' this time, and then it used the move 'Shadow ball'.
It may be due to luck or the hard work of shiny Koffing, but it was able to dodge the move. One of the problems that Axel found in shiny Koffing was that it didn't have the attacking moves of other types.
Shiny Koffing also used the move 'Substitute', and then it used the move 'Sludge wave'. Koffing used the move 'Dark pulse' and both of their moves collided.
Koffing was very careful of 'Will-O-Wisp'. It had extremely high chances of burning the target. So, it had been dodging that move, and till now no one had landed a bit except for the 'Heat wave' of Koffing.
Finally, shiny Koffing's 'Will-O-Wisp' connected, and Koffing suffered the burnt status. But even that was not able to hinder Koffing from winning this battle. It directly used the move 'Shadow ball', which did hit shiny Koffing this time.
BANG!!!!
It was thrown off, and it nearly crashed to the ground, but what was waiting for it was not something that it had expected.
A powerful 'Psybeam'.
The purple beam hit shiny Koffing as it was not able to dodge the move.
"KOfff.. KOFFing!!!", shouted the shiny Koffing, but Koffing was not done yet. It used the move 'Shadow ball' again and

The shiny Koffing that was taking the damage just disappeared after taking that hit. It was actually the substitute. Axel could not believe that his Koffing would be taken advantage of like that.
'It still needs to learn a lot.'

From the right side of Koffing, a sludge of poison came and hit it. Even though it was not poisoned by the move, it still did its damage.
Koffing suddenly began to glow with a white light, and all its injuries were instantly healed. Even the burn status was gone right now. It had used the move 'Swallow' and improved its health.
Both of them started to use their best moves as the battle continued for the next five minutes. A battle between common rank Pokemon should have lasted that long, but since both of them have high stamina and defense, they could go on.
Both of them had injuries, and they looked tired.
Suddenly, from the right side of shiny Koffing a purple beam came and hit it with all of its power.
BOOOM
The move was so unexpected that even the leader Bisharp could not tell what had happened for a few seconds. But a king rank Pokemon was a king rank Pokemon. It gave me a soft smile after knowing what had happened.
Koffing had used the move 'Spit up' and then used the move 'Psybeam'. Due to the upgraded version of 'Psybeam', shiny Koffing could not possibly tell where the move was coming from.
The move was super effective against shiny Koffing and with that move, it finally fainted.
"KOF… KOFFFING!!!!"
Koffing gave a loud shout of victory. From losing the battle against shiny Koffing a month ago to dominating it now, it had come a long way.
Axel treated both Koffing and shiny Koffing. Both of them were injured, but Koffing had healed a lot by using 'Swallow'.
"Congrats, now you can evolve and be the leader.", said Axel, patting it back.
After celebrating its victory, it was ready to evolve at any time. But a problem arose.
Two or more Koffings could merge and evolve into Weezing but they would need a suitable environment. A place where there was a lot of poison type energy.
But Axel didn't know where such a place was. Then it hit him.
"Won't there be such a place in the Weezing tribe?"
Axel immediately asked shiny Koffing about it, and he was right. The place existed in the Weezing tribe but...
"Damn it!!! I forgot that shiny Koffing is an outcast over there. Now, how the hell am I supposed to evolve Koffing?"
"As an ally, why don't I help you on this?", said the leader Bisharp.
"Are you sure? You are ready to confront a tribe for me?"
The leader Bisharp just swayed its sword, saying, "Oh, it is not much. That tribe is too weak to even look us in the eye. I got this."
"Ok, if you say so, then why don't we go there right now and do it?"
The leader Bisharp agreed to it instantly. After talking for some time, they were ready to move after an hour.
Actually, Axel wanted to train Shiny Koffing a bit in move mastery and then evolve Koffing with it. Doing so would lead to greater results as the shiny Koffing was lacking in that department. But Axel didn't have the time for it.
Koffing was ready to evolve, and he could not waste his time. The physical stats of both of them could be compared to any of the uncommon rank Pokemon. So, even if shiny Koffing didn't have good mastery over its moves, its heightened stats made up for it.
The leader Bisharp took another 4 Bisharp who were also at king rank. Seeing the lineup, Axel was sure that no one would interfere with them in the journey, and it stood corrected.
After walking for almost a whole day, they finally reached Weezing tribe. The tribe was very different from what he had imagined. Normally, a Pokemon tribe had a clear wall and borders, and they were also very clean. But the Weezing tribe was the opposite of clean.
It was the most disgusting, smelly place he had ever seen in his whole life. It was not that the place was too dirty. It was dirty, but not to that extent, but the smell was too much for Axel to handle.
He quickly took out a cloth and wrapped it around his nose to block the smell. Others also did it, except for the two Koffings. They didn't have an effect on it for some reason.
Finally, the leader of the Weezing tribe, with some of its elders, came to talk to them. When they saw the shiny Koffing, their face twitched with anger and annoyance, but even they knew that they could not mess with the Bisharp tribe.
The leader of the Bisharp tribe started to talk with the leader of Weezing tribe in their own language, which he could not understand.
After talking and what seemed like threatening, the leader Bisharp came near Axel and said, "They had agreed to it."
The group followed the Weezing tribe's leader to a designated place. All of the conversation and the situation surprised the shiny Koffing. There it was that had run from the tribe fearing for its life, and now it was a part of a group that was bossing the leader of the tribe itself.
"See, this is what a powerful Pokemon could do. Everything revolves around power. So, train hard and grow stronger so that you can do the same in the future.", said Axel to shiny Koffing.
Before, it was not sure if it would evolve with Koffing, with Koffing being the leader, but now, it was ready to go.
They were led to a specified place. It was an open space, and it was all covered in trees, but these trees looked purple in color, which was quite confusing.
"As per the leader of the Weezing tribe, we cannot go there because the place is highly poisonous. Only Weezing and Koffing can go there, but we can watch the evolution process from here."
Axel asked about the reason for such a setup and the peculiarities of the place, and he received an answer that was quite unusual and new to him.
Actually, the trees had been here for as long as they could remember. These trees were very special, and they had evolved over time. What they did was only seal the poison type energy inside that area, but they also refined the poison type energy and slowly made it purer.
Axel didn't even know that such trees existed.
The leader of the Weezing tribe asked who would be the leader in the evolution, and after it was told that it would be Koffing, they gave instructions and positioned Koffing and shiny Koffing in a specified way.
"The leader of the Weezing tribe says that by doing this, they could maximize the benefits of the evolution.", said the leader of the Bisharp tribe.
Slowly and steadily, the poison-type energy started to revolve around both of them to the point that it was clearly visible now. Then both of them acted like a magnet as they came closer and closer, and suddenly, there was a huge flash and the evolution glow started.
The process of evolution was longer than Axel had expected. But it was okay because the final result satisfied him a lot.
The evolved Weezing looked quite large, and it was bigger than its normal counterparts. Now, the Weezing had become completely shiny. Its aura was far stronger than normal, uncommon rank Pokemon.
The process of evolution had gone splendidly and Axel could not be happier. He knew that his Weezing was different than normal and its status page would surprise him, but this was not the time to look for its status page.
After congratulating and checking on Weezing, Axel said, "Let's go."
Axel didn't want to spend a minute here anymore. The place was too creepy for his liking, and it smelled a lot. He felt that he would be sick if he stayed here for more than an hour.
The leader of the Bisharp tribe also didn't have any problem. Since they were travelling for a whole day without rest, when they started to go back to the Bisharp tribe, they took a rest for a couple of hours.
Axel was surprised to see that the Bisharp tribe members were not tried at all. Well, a king rank Pokemon could not be underestimated.
Finally, after hours of journey, they finally reached the Bisharp tribe. When they reached the place, all of them just wanted to rest and have a proper sleep except for the Bisharp tribe members. They looked like they were ready to train.
Before sleeping, Axel wanted to see the status page of Weezing, and this time, he was really amazed.
