Doctor Brauer was in the Portal lounge (or Portal zone… that is what they called the space where all the portals were located inside Raincoat Labs). He was overseeing a maintenance exercise and attempting to get the Molotov portal back online. The engineers and technicians were focused on getting the job done right because they didn't want to hear any complaints from the doctor.
Suddenly one of the portals started lighting up, showing activity. Dr. Brauer asked the assistants that were with him behind the glass,
Dr. Brauer: Was a delivery scheduled for today that I was unaware of?
Assistant: No, sir. Nothing was scheduled for today.
Dr. Brauer: So if we're not expecting anyone, why is the portal of the Reach lighting up with activity?
Then out of the blue, two people came through the portal. One of them had four wings, while the other, an individual who resembled a female, had two.
Rachel: What is this place? – She asked, looking around all over their surroundings in awe.
