Today turned out to be the worse day of my life. It was just terrible luck stacked upon terrible luck, simply one thing going awry after another for the entire day. However, what really set the tone for the rest of the day was the meaning behind what I witnessed behind the doors of that guy's office door.
A few moments ago...
I lightly tapped on the glass door to Doyle's temporary office, opening it without waiting for him to acknowledge my presence there as I figured he would most likely keep me waiting to punish me. Nevertheless, there was a material he had which I needed to use in a compilation for a report when I stumbled upon Len and Doyle locking lips.
I froze on the spot, unable to peel my eyes from the scene unfolding before me. My legs rooted to the ground as my breath halted, stuck in my throat.
