Hela dropped to one knee, lowering her head to hide her smile as she spoke, "My Lord, you are amongst mortals, the divinity within your voice might cause them harm." At this point Hela really wanted to start chuckling for many reasons, the chief one being joy. She now knew David had the power to do what he promised, which brought her a large amount of relief.
"Oh? Is this better then? Ahh, I see, no-one is flinching anymore. That was unfortunate, I will need to be more aware in the future." David was doing his best to catch on what Hela had meant, still being in his "time-cocoon" he was aware of all, just concerned about impacting other people as he had no-one in there to test his changes on.
Angel brought herself to one knee then look to Diana in disbelief, "Your lord is a King of Gods?" she whispered. (King of Gods refers to a leader of the pantheon, like Odin and Zeus)
Diana smiled as she dropped herself to one knee, grudgingly, she was going to have a word with David making her bow before a god, not of her pantheon. If it had been anyone but David, she would never have humored them this way.
"Nay child, but that is the closest description, that is part of the reason I remain within another time as yourselves. The moment I leave here the land I step on shall become my godly realm and be revealed to those who are sensitive enough." David was trying to channel every old movie he had seen where gods spoke to mortals, he was so out of his comfort zone right now and doing his best not to mess things up.
Hearing his words Angel felt like an idiot, of course, the god would hear her whispers, duh. Being the Queen though she caught on fast what Genesis meant. Normally a God's realm was the size of an asteroid, a mountain, or something of similar size. The timing and the offer of protection, Genesis was implying his realm would be the size of her world, no, he was implying her world would be his realm. (Not a true world. Heven is regarded as a Dwarf world and only just)
Steph was about to speak up when she noticed the Queen seemed to have worked things out and was having an internal debate, things like that Steph found a way too exhausting so generally just went with her instincts.
'Hunny, why are you not talking to us?' the moment the thoughts left her mind she could feel sudden pangs of fear and concern from the other ladies in their mental group, they seemed frozen as if waiting for something horrible to happen.
'HAHA, well trust you my dear to resolve that question without even trying. I can sense you are all fine and have missed you all allot.' The ladies could feel the relaxed warmth and care carried over David's voice, in a way it was confusing, he had always held himself back in regards all except Steph.
'We were concerned with my new level of power using our mind speak it might be too much for mortals to handle. It looks like you gave poor Fox some silver fur just now.' They could all hear the humor in David's voice as he poked fun at the poor furry.
'Hela, you see the wingless one in the back. That is the one I mentioned to you.' At this point the Queen had turned slightly and was talking to the angels she had brought with her the discussion was intense so the wingless angel seemed unaware of all the attention that had been suddenly focused on her.
'David, is what you said true? You not showing yourself because the land you step on will become your realm?' Steph asked trying to sound like that was the real meaning behind her question.
The ladies chuckled lightly in the mental link as Diana outright blew Stephenie out the water, 'He obviously would have changed physically Steph, I would not have thought you were one to concern yourself with those things.'
'But what if he became a child god.' Steph whined, 'I don't think I could do it like that!!'
Silence dropped suddenly in the mental chat, all around Steph the ladies were pursing their lips together, Fox had tears forming in the corner of her eyes while little muffled noises were coming from Hela.
[David]: 'I have not become a child god, but I have changed a little. Let's leave that for now. We need to solve this fast, I have adjusted to my powers, but I need to resolve some things out there soon.'
'What is your domain over David? Anything fun?' Diana grinned at Steph as asked.
[David]: 'Reality.'
'Really? That seems really convenient. I would have thought Mind for sure.' Hela added
'It was Mind, I kept using reality warping to change it, then it would change back again. It took over 200 years to stop it changing back and become my fixed domain.' David replied, it exhausted him just remembering it, it was nothing like changing it every few hours, this was something he had to keep changing every second in the beginning.
As he finished his thoughts, he noticed the Queen come back to Diana and look around, almost like she believed she might see David if she tried hard enough.
"We have spoken, it seems obvious you are seeking to use Heven as your realm. I understand we could do nothing to stop you if you insisted, and I would personally prefer it to not go that route.' Angel, thanks to her sister's ideas had a path. It would keep them safe not only from Odin but the other realms and grant them strength. "I wish to know, is it true that those who live within a God's Realm become stronger, faster, and heal more easily?"
"I see where you are going with this, yes, it is true. It is also true that the more of a god's energy you absorb, the more loyal you become to them. If I understand, you are not against me making Heven my realm, but you wish all your race to remain living on it. I see no problem with this, but then I wish to make another offer. I take Heven as my realm and move it on the same path as Midgard, but at a 45-degree angle from the Sun. I accept all the Angels, in name or otherwise//Hela nodded slightly to herself as she noted his words// as my warrior force. I will grant you the power as the Goddess of the Angels." David was grinning as he spoke, this was the deal they were hoping for as they were originally a mercenary race and needed as much protection now as they could get, with the Queen being granted the power of a goddess over her own race, they would get a lot stronger.
The Queen lowered her head a moment as if considering the offer seriously while the Angels in the back made fists behind their back in a sign of victory, as things stood Asgard could invade them at any moment, "I, Queen of the Angels herby agree on the name of Genesis that I and all on Heven will honor this deal till our last."
"I, Genesis, herby stand by my words and will honor our agreement till all others are no more." David smiled to himself, "As soon as I start bestowing Godhood, you shall be among the first. // There was a moment of silence//I have moved the world, please make room so I can step forth as Odin knows you have re-entered realms."
All present suddenly looked around in shock, they were no longer talking at the portal, the portal was behind them at the end of a beautiful aquamarine path they were standing on that ended in a cliff, while the world of Heven they were now standing on was orbiting a large yellow sun.
