Rockshre village was ever peaceful. The only change was Sloane's appearance. Though her unknown origin to them she was still welcomed without any suspicion or judgement.
She had begun her life as Zehel and became an apprentice fishmonger working to earn money under Derek. She learnt to catch not just fish butany other things she considered it necessary for her survival. She learnt native languages spoken mostly by villagers and merchants that was mainly used to communicate for trade purposes.
"Zehel! Bring out Ms Linda's order. She's come to pick it up." He called out.
"Coming!" Sloane wrapped the fish in paper bag and took it to the entrance of the small shop Derek owned.
"Here it is ma'am!" Sloane had now gotten a hang of dealing with daily customers.
The plump short woman named Linda smiled and thanked her.
