After a hearty meal Derek took Sloane to the village market.
It stank of fish and sea. The odours well overwhelming but it died down the moment she began paying attention to the villagers doing shopping and selling.
It was lively. Musicians made merrymaking and some villagers were dancing.
"Is there some sort of official event here?" She asked.
"Yes. Soon the foundation day of Nethiloria is approaching. So everyone begins preparations four months prior." He said proudly.
"What about Atlanta? So far I know they begin preparations for just two months. Even though both nations celebrate their founding days on the same date." He told her.
"Wasn't Nethiloria supposed to have it's founding day after Atlanta's?"She asked recalling her knowledge fro mtge history books.
"That's the greatest misconception." Derek shook his head.
