The voices dulled. Silence engulfed her ears. Her greatest fear was death without getting revenge. Her body was sinking in the deep ocean. And then something slipped by. As if swirling around her.
Her eyes half open while still desperately trying to find hope in life.
And then the pendant shone.
Realization struck her. She opened her eyes and the horror stood in flesh before her.
"Leviathan!" Her mind, every inch of her body was screaming this was not supposed to happen.
The sea guardian was before her. It's blue scales gleamed under the sunlight reaching the ocean bed.
It's eyes glowing lime gold.
"The cursed child....we finally meet" the voice said. The pendant resonated aggressively as if to respond to its words.
"So this is what the last saintess was trying to protect. That foolish woman gave up her life just for a worthless and insignificant being like you?" It sighed.
