"Hello, Kuya Ben? Is everything alright?" Maya asked the moment she answered my call.
"No, I am not fine, and I messed up, Maya," I said, feeling so down and worried that I couldn't find Lisa anywhere.
"What have you done to Lisa, Ben?" Maya asked, and I can tell the toned of her voice suddenly changed, but she was trying to control it. And I narrated everything that happened at the restaurant, and I heard my sister released a heavy breath.
"Oh, no, I am sorry, Kuya Ben. I am sure she is trying to avoid you because she is hurting, but you don't need to worry, I will call her. I couldn't believe your ex will appear now that you already have a girlfriend, and I hate to think sometimes destiny will play a trick with us.
