She immediately returned to her normal expression and switched to disgust at thinking such horrible thoughts. Stepping away from the group she stepped outside and the cool air felt great against her skin. She felt so alive and well. She was glad to be out of that mansion and with her group again but she could not help but wonder where their last companion was. She turned to face Kaz and he was already looking at her with a curious expression.
"Windson?" She asked without going into detail.
"I smelled his tracks not far from here but now I don't have the capability to track him so we will have to look for him in the general direction of my last scent."
She looked at him funny.
"Since when did you have a good sense of smell?"
He shook his head.
"It was temporary, it wore off now."
He lied as he walked outside to get away from Peter. As Perish and Kaz stood in the entrance to the dilapidated house she sighed.
"We should do it quickly."
Kaz nodded slowly.
