"We are in the middle of a conversation", Ian express looking displeased at Rafi. Riri turned her attention from Rafi back to Ian. "Sigh, I think we are done, there is nothing left to talk about" she determined. "No Riri I am not done talking", he exclaimed. "No Ian you were for sure talking but not in the way of explaining and apologizing for your actions last year, you were trying to manipulate me into thinking you did nothing wrong as for you are always in the right, correct? You then proceeded to try and touch me as nothing as ever happened, I guess you wanted all the people around to hear and see us that's why you started to speak in a slightly higher voice, you wanted them to have the impression that we have made up, didn't you? If we have made up therefore our families were back on good terms which greatly benefits you, no? I know you too well by now", the young doctor summarized while raising her brow and folding her arms. While Ian fell into silence, Rafi looked on in disappointment at the man "Ah he really is trash", he thought. "Let's end this here, you can let people think what you want and I am no longer interested or care, I just want to dance with my boyfriend", she further added.
Ian didn't say anymore surprised how she how she had been able to seen through him, he had indeed hoped that this group of people would witness them being friendly it would put an end to the current tensions and gossip around their families and bring him into a better light within his after the trouble he had caused. He saw as Rafi who had a huge grin on his face grabbed her hand with both of his while leading her away, she was also smiling from cheek to cheek as she happily followed him. He couldn't help but to feel a pang in his heart, he wasn't sure if it was jealousy or perhaps regret. No it was the unhappiness at knowing she wasn't as gullible to him as she had always been, she just to follow his every word or so he thought, what he didn't know was she did those things for her family not him.
Rafi however was feeling ecstatic at this very moment after hearing her call him her boyfriend, immediately he had lead her away walking ahead through the step where the usual glass doors would be leading to the patio terrace where a makeshift dancefloor had been made in front of the pianist that Ant had insisted on having play at the party, he was playing a black grand piano which perfectly fit the beautifully decorated terrace, elegant solar lighting lined it's way down the patio to the pergola in one corner where Maxi, Clara and Ant were sitting chatting with friends all around the pool beside them which water ripples were ever so clear, the terrace was on hill overlooking an a forest that was just on outskirt of the city, the sun transcending down with hues of blue, orange and red, it was beginning to set, the couple couldn't help but smile at the beautiful view before them.
The lieutenant turned to the young doctor, he held out one hand as he beamed, "My Goddess", Riri smirked as she took a breathe and gently placed her hand in his, Rafi put the other hand on the small of her back while Riri placed hers on his shoulder, the whole time they made those actions without ever loosing eye contact. They both fell into step with the rhythm of the music, they slowly moved in sync with each other, taking one step at a time, Rafi moved to twirl her out and graciously brought her back to himself this time further into his embrace. At this moment the young lady heard some whispers around them, she became distracted as she knew they were being watched, the lieutenant who had been looking at her noticed this, lifted his hand away from hers and brushed it against her cheek, "Stay with me", he whispered, his face close to hers before pulling back again to look at her. Her emerald eyes glistened as she looked up at him, Rafi's bright blue eyes locked on to her glistening ones as he brought her closer to himself and placed his hand from her cheek to her back joining his other hand, she slowly lifted her arms up and placed them around his neck. They resumed back into the rhythm of the music, more in sync then before, the people and scenery began to gradually disappear as they continued to look at each other. Riri finally felt herself relax in his arms, a strand of her hair fell to her face as it often did, she felt his hand brush it gently behind her ear before she had the chance too, a beautiful smile spread across her face. To the couple who felt as though time had stood still and it was just them alone in this blissful place in each other arms dancing. For the people watching them it was a mesmerizing sight of an attractive couple dancing in complete sync as they held each other close with the melodious music in the background with the golden rays shining around them, it really was sight to behold.
"I hope you know CPR, because you just took my breath away!", Rafi broke the silence. Riri looked at him for a second before laughing, "Ugh that was so cringe but just so you know I am doctor so I definitely know CPR" "Ah is that so, then you can help me indeed, I seem to have caught something, I think it's love sickness!", Rafi further joked. Riri rolled her eyes "Stop it", she declared while hitting his chest with her small hand which made hardly any impact. The couple was now chuckling while still dancing along to the music, "I am glad you are more relaxed, you seemed very on edge since earlier", he said. She replied by giving him a somber look as her thoughts were pulled back. Realizing this, "My team heard everything that happened earlier, I still had my ear piece in", he started trying to distract her. "What do you mean", she asked while looking puzzled at his random comment. "I was on duty earlier, I was parked up this hill to get a fuller view when you caught my attention", he explained. Surprised Riri replied "So you were working then..", "It's ok we were about to clock off and I couldn't help but approach you". Rafi said with a cheeky grin. The young lady suddenly looked away feeling embarrassed not just about his comments but also now thinking about what his team must of heard. This had been one very embarrassing evening for her!
Rafi couldn't help but gaze at her, he continued, "Seriously you know your very attractive lady right", Riri jolted back up to look at him, "I said to stop it", "I'm being honest, why do you think I was compelled to you earlier", Rafi explained. Riri couldn't help but remember the events that had occurred earlier once again, in particular one specific event. She knew this man was finding ways to comfort her, to make her feel at ease in the current situation they were in, he came to her aide over and over again when no one asked him too, it was has if it was a given for him and everything with him just felt so right and she did with so at ease and comforted by his words but why when they had only just met.
She stared deeply into his twinkling bright blue eyes, there was a sparkle in them that she had just noticed, even with the sparkle they looked so clear just like undisturbed water, she noticed he was looking right into her eyes as deeply as she was, there eyes were locked. The seconds of them looking at each other fell even deeper, it felt like they were assessing each others inner most deepest thoughts right down to their souls. She felt a shiver run down her spine, her eyes draw down in a sleepy gaze, she felt herself lean upwards, her arms around his neck tighten and suddenly her lips were on his. Caught by surprise Rafi stilled, as he came to his sense he realized she was kissing him just had he had kissed her earlier, it warmed his heart. He wrapped his arms around her tighter as he leaned down to reciprocate the kiss. Her soft lips were pillowing against his, he parted his lips slightly to give her access, they could feel the gentle tickle of each others breathes against each other, she felt when he moved one hand into hair cradling the back of her head to deepen the kiss. Their was an aura of passion that surrounding them as they continued to kiss each other deeply, the sun had now set and the lights from the terrace were outlining a shadow of them holding it each other close as if they were merged into one.
