—3rd September 11:01p.m.—
When they got back, Accelerator dropped her from his arms and then turned his electrode off, slammed his cane on the ground and started limping back to his room. Accelerator found it pointless to talk to her and just wanted to get to bed. But when they got back to his room however...
"Where do I sleep?" the girl asks him.
"I don't know go find a something soft to rest on and don't disturb me."
He drops to his bed as he plucks out his battery from his electrode and his hand lays there in place.
"Fuck." He thinks to himself. Then Ester took the battery and asks,"Do you need any help?'
"..." He couldn't understand what she was saying, nor could he decipher her lips movement. He is smart, but he is still a regular human after all. There are limits to what he can and cannot do.
Ester looks around the room and she sees a black pod where it can perfectly fit the battery. She places it into the pod and it made a 'tink' sound and it started whirring.
"Right, now that I've done that, don't you think I deserve a place to sleep at?" She curiously asks but Accelerator couldn't respond and only stared at her.
"Uhhh...please stop looking at me like that...it's creepy..."
But he continued staring. Her face immediately turns red from being stared at so intensely and she just slipped under his blankets and laid next to him because that was the only spot she could really fit in to. She soon drifted off to sleep and Accelerator thought, though he couldn't form the words,"The fuck is she doing?"
-4th September 11:35a.m.-
"Good morning, sleepyhead! Misaka as Misaka pulls the blanket off...you...wha!"
Last Order was in his room, trying out a new wake up call as she holds the battery in her hands.
"WHO IS SHE?!?! Misaka asks as Misaka is feeling extremely confused and angry at the same time!"
Last Order slides the battery into his electrode and the both of them simultaneously got up. Accelerator slaps the back of her head and he scolded her,"I thought I told you not to disturb me and find somewhere else to sleep?!"
"What? That's because you didn't give me a proper answer. You were only staring at me."
"What?! Staring?! Misaka says as Misaka wonders what other dirty things you two did to each other while in your current states."
Ester was naked and Accelerator was fully clothed. In a calm voice, Accelerator responded with,"Tch, if it matters that much to you, we did nothing. I had this stupid shit off my neck, I couldn't have done anything."
"Hmm...that is true...BUT! Misaka thinks that you were into her dominating you while you were feeling helpless, Misaka says as Misaka comes up with a-Ow!"
He flicks her forehead and she fell back.
"Don't be stupid." He says as he looks around and then he asks,"Where's Misaka?"
"The gekota doctor said he'll try to restore Misaka's memories"
"Why?"
"He said something about redeeming himself since he couldn't save a boy a few weeks ago from memory loss, reports Misaka as Misaka sympathises with him." Last Order looks at him and he only clicks his tongue. Then, a grumbling noise was heard, it wasn't from Accelerator or Last Order but from the naked girl beside him.
"Uhhh...haha..." Ester nervously laughs.
"*sigh* Oi Last Order, go and buy 3 bento boxes."
"No! Not until you tell Misaka who this is! Misaka says as Misaka feels very angry."
Ester looks at him and he looks at her back and she says,"I'm Ester Rosenthal and I'm a necr-"
"Oi!" Accelerator flicks the back of her head using his middle finger and she curled her lips.
"I-I'm his classmate, yes! And I've come to him to request his help in something." She continues.
"Nice to meet you, says Misaka as Misaka glances over to your direction to see what that flick was all about..."
Accelerator looks away as he picks his cane up and starts picking clothes from the bag of clothes he bought yesterday and tells her,"Get dressed, we're going off."
"Hey! No ignoring Misaka's question! Says Misaka as Misaka starts chasing you"
She hugs his leg as he limps over to the door. Ester just stares at the two of them and wonders,"Is that really the girl who has died more than 10,000 times?"
-4th September 12:05p.m.-
After they got dressed, Accelerator was wearing his white shirt with grey stripes on it and jeans that fit his size. As they were walking to Joseph's Coffee and Restaurant, they were rejected countless times.
"Ahn? The fuck do you mean we can't enter?!"
"I'm sorry sir, but we have ran out of seats, they have all been reserved."
"By who?!"
"By people"
The #1 couldn't even find a single spot to eat in.
"Fuck..."
They left the restaurant to search for a new restaurant to dine at. While walking, they appeared to others as a family, a mother, a father and their children. Except, the father had an extremely annoyed expression on his face, with his hands inside his pockets.
While walking, Last Order was telling Ester all the good foods which the family restaurants had to offer. Accelerator was just looking straight ahead and then he saw smoke rising up behind some buildings.
"Who's having a barbecue at this moment?" He comments as the two of them continued chatting. They continued walking until they arrived at a new family restaurant, 'Jacob Restaurant'.
"Why can't you ever find a restaurant to eat at without getting rejected? Asks Misaka as Misaka hints at asking her instead.
"Tch, do you even think that they would allow us in?"
"Fufufu...Who do you think Misaka is? Asks Misaka as Misaka gives you a smug look."
"A damn brat."
"Hey! That's not nice, says Misaka as Misaka demands an apology from you."
He clicks his tongue and then they enter the restaurant and then the waiter asks,"Table reservation for...3?"
"Yes, that will be us, says Misaka as Misaka looks at you, expecting an apology."
"...Tch, lets go." Accelerator replies.
"Wah?! Hey, don't ignore Misaka like that! Says Misaka as Misaka starts to pester you."
They walk into the restaurant to find it completely empty. They were led to a table where the menus were already placed there.
"Why is it so empty today?" Accelerator ponders. However, his question was soon answered by Last Order who explains to him,"Heh heh...Misaka knew how unlucky you were, so she made sure to tell every Sister to book the whole restaurant online. Although they were hesitant at first, Misaka managed to persuade them, says Misaka as Misaka shows off her power."
She had a smug look on her face as she raises her head high up, and Accelerator just stays silent as he looks at the dishes in the menu.
"For one, black coffee is a must...For two..." then he catches a glimpse at Ester who was looking very confused at the menu, her hands shaking as sweat drips down from her forehead.
"What are all these dishes?! They look super duper delicious!" She exclaims and she points out to the numerous dishes in the menu.
She asks,"What kind of food is this bee f'curry?"
"Beef curry." Accelerator replies and Last Order says,"Curry!"
"What kind of meat does it contain? Is it sheep? Is it goat?" She says in an excited tone.
"It's beef." Accelerator replies, and Last Order replies,"Yes, cow meat!"
"And these cheese-stuffed--"
"Hamburger." Accelerator says.
"Also cow meat!" Last Order adds.
"You know everything, do you?" Ester looks at Last Order with glee and she responds with,"Sure do! Ask me anything!"
"All right! Then what kind of food is this?"
"Crunchy food, bursting with yummy flavour!"
"The fuck is this brat saying?...*Sigh* She's hopeless..." He thinks to himself as he gives Ester a proper answer,"Pork deep-fried in oil."
"And this?" Ester asks.
"Ah! It's a creamy, piping-hot, delicious food!" Last Order tells her and Accelerator adds on with,"Flavoured rice with a fried chicken egg stuck on top of it."
"And this?"
"A lumpy, tasty, delicious food!" and Accelerator yet again answers her properly,"Salmon eggs pickled in soy sauce and served over rice."
"And this?"
"A hot, melt-in-your-mouth yummy food!" and Accelerator adds on,"A stewed tuna head."
"Ohhhhhh..." Ester moans for a while before locking her left hand with Last Order's right hand and Last Order tells her," All of the food here is very delicious! Says Misaka as Misaka lets you know!"
Accelerator just looks at them and wonders,"Everything is delicious, and everyone is happy, huh?"
He clicks his tongue and calls for the waitress, he hands her his credit card and they ordered all of the food items which were previously mentioned with an add-on of black coffee.
Not long after, his black coffee arrived because let's be real here, coffee doesn't take very long to brew. The waitress arrives with his coffee in hand, however, as she picked it up from the mini tray in her hands, it slipped off her index finger and it spilled all over him. He turned on his electrode to prevent himself from being scalded.
"Ah! I'm very sorry sir! L-Let me clean it up for you!" The waitress says in an urgent tone.
"It's fine. Just get me another cup..." Accelerator was at the brink of blowing up but held back.
"You're not angry or anything?" Eater asks him.
"I've made it a point not to get upset with small details." He replies her. "But I would have loved it if I could have had a proper taste of the coffee in a cup." He thinks to himself as he licks the coffee off around his lips.
The waitress arrives with a cloth, but before she could wipe him down, he grabs her wrist and says,"It's fine. I'll do it myself."
The waitress blushes for a bit as she hands her cloth to him and she scurries off with her head down. As he wipes himself off, he gets a weird look from Last Order as she squints her eyes looking at him.
"You have been acting weird for the past few hours, Misaka says as Misaka states her views."
"That so? It's probably just your imagination." He replies her.
"No, Misaka cannot comprehend all that has happened to you lately, says Misaka as Misaka starts to think deep."
"What's so weird about everything that had happened?" He asks her.
"First, you wake up with a naked girl, next you're attracting even more girls. There is something definitely going on here, says Misaka as Misaka wonders how she feels about all this."
"You're probably too hungry to even be thinking properly. Just shut up and give me some peace and quiet, will you?"
Last Order grumbles as she places a finger on her head but after 5 more minutes of waiting, the dishes arrived on trays and the multiple waitresses and waiters serve the dishes on the table.
Ester's eyes sparkled up as she looked at the numerous plates of dishes in front of her. She grabs a spoon from the beef curry plate and takes a bite from the spoon.
"This is very, very, surprisingly good--" Ester says as she tilts her head towards Last Order, but before she could finish her sentence, her mouth was stuffed with chicken meat from Last Order.
"This is very good too. Good, isn't it?" Last Order tells her with a smile, as Ester continues chewing on the chicken, still attached to the fork. At that moment, Ester was reminded of a very close friend of hers and she looks down at her plate while Last Order continues to talk to her.
"Good food tastes better when eaten together. This is what families do."
"It tastes amazing. I've never had anything as wonderful as this around me." Ester says as tears start to drip down from her eyes. Accelerator, who was listening in on their conversation as he takes a sip from the fizzy drink in his hands, looked over to Ester, as he wonders,"What the fuck? She cried over food?"
But then, all of a sudden, her mood was lifted as the tears disappear from her eyes and she lifted her head and said,"The science of Academy City is quite amazing!"
"Tch, don't just change the mood all of a sudden. It's misleading." Accelerator mutters but Ester could not hear it so she asked him,"What was that?"
"Nothing." He replies.
She takes a spoonful of curry and rice and faces it towards Last Order and tells her,"All right, my turn."
"Is that for me?" Last Order asks her to which she replies with a smile,"This is what families do. Right?"
Last Order eats from the spoon in front of her and she says,"Mm, it's good!"
At that moment, Accelerator places the drink from his hand onto the table and quietly walks out as Last Order asks him,"Where are you going?"
"I'm just going to make a phone call."
"To who?"
"It doesn't concern you."
With that, he leaves the restaurant. He walks into an alleyway next to the restaurant but as he makes a turn, he trips over a rock but he manages to turn his back to the ground as he lands.
"Tch, this shit never changes." He gets up and rests his back on the wall and ponders over the solutions he can find out about the new group D.A.
"Who is involved with the dark side to the point where they know everything? I need to find out more about D.A., but how?"
He grumbles for a bit as he scuffles his hair and look through the contacts in his phone to find Kinuhata's phone number and Last Order's phone number. With one more, a deceased Yoshikawa.
"...Guess I'll ask her."
He dials up her number and waited as ringtone buzzes in his ear. Soon after, Kinuhata picked up. Or so he thought.
"Ha?! Why are you calling Kinuhata?"
A grumpy and annoyed voice came through the speaker, and it was someone who he hated seeing in the family restaurants. It was Mugino.
"Tch, shut up and pass her the phone, hag."
"Should you really be saying that to me?" Mugino mocks him.
"Give me one good reason why I should not."
"Because I know more than Kinuhata. Whatever she wants to know, I know it. So better start paying your respect to meeee..." She held the last word for a couple of seconds and then ended it with,"#1".
This popped a vein in his head as he gripped his phone in his left hand tighter than ever.
"Just answer me this, do you know anything about D.A.?" Accelerator asks her.
"Oi oi oi! If you want answers, I need to see the money. I don't give information out for free."
"Tch, how much?"
"You name the price."
"...5,000 yen."
"I'm not that cheap."
"10,000."
"Higher."
"15,000."
"Higher."
He was fuming mad at this rate as he raised it all the way up to...
"100,000 yen."
"Okay! We have a deal! Now all you have to do is transfer the payment to my bank account. I'll message you the details on my phone."
"*sigh* Now will you answer my damn question, you greedy bitch."
"...Nah I don't like your tone, I'm hangin' up."
He clenches his teeth as a "crack" sound came from the impact between his upper row of teeth and lower row of teeth.
"Heh heh heh...You better answer my fuckin' question before I go over to you and let you have a taste of my fist." He threatens her.
"Come and get me, #1. Or should I say, former #1?"
"...Ahn?"
"News about you being shot in the head and losing your calculation abilities had been spread around Academy City. Now everyone is doubting your position as the #1 esper in Academy City, the strongest esper."
Then there was a long pause between the two of them and she breaks the silence with,"How are you holding up?"
"Tch, I don't need your concerns, old lady."
"Seeing as how you still have that asshole attitude of yours, I'll take it as you are fine."
"Are you gonna tell me information on D.A. or not?"
"I'll have to do some digging, I'll give you a text with my bank account inside. When you've transferred the money, I'll talk."
"*Sigh* Greedy woman..." He mutters as he prepares to hang up the phone but he hears someone else arguing with Mugino.
"Mugino! My phone...what are you doing to it?"
"Ha? I was just answering a phone call."
"From who?"
"From a client."
"Urk...don't drag me into your problems..." He mutters as he hangs up the phone. He gets up from leaning against the wall and heads back into the restaurant to find Ester and Last Order gone. Seeing this, he immediately panicked.
"What the fuck?! Was she just tricking me into thinking that she was nice?!"
At that moment, he let it sink into his head. That bastard speaking through the robot, Hishigata and...Ester..."
He places his fingers on his electrode and then mutters,"When I get my hands on them, I'll turn them into minced meat!"
Then, he gets a tap on his left shoulder. He turns to the person tapping on him with a very terrifying look and the waitress who had served him earlier shrieked in fear when she saw his threatening expression.
"Eek!"
"Ahn? What the hell do you want?"
"...I-I...c-came t-to tell you th-hat th-the two g-girls left earlier a-after they had finished e-eating..."
"Uh huh...Then?" He loosened his expression a bit and it calmed her down a bit and she continued,"Th-They told me to inform you that they w-went back for a change of clothes..."
"Why?"
"They didn't know how to use the drink dispensers and it sprayed all over them..."
Accelerator's expression became very clueless as he stares at her and wonders,"*sigh* You have to be fucking kidding me...They are really...hopeless."
He pinches the bridge of his nose and he leaves but not without saying "sorry" to the waitress.
-4th September 2:45p.m.-
Accelerator was back from the restaurant, but little did he know that someone called a stripper to his room and his facial expression was not shock, surprised, happy, sad, angry or disappointed, it was just "what?" when he entered the room. The stripper was a blonde girl with green eyes as her E-sized breasts hung loosely from her body without a bra, her nipples perking up as she too, turned to face him with a confused expression. However, neither of them were embarrassed. They acknowledged each other's presence except for one more person in the room...
"Geez! It's good manners to knock on the door, even if it is your own room! Says Misaka as Misaka drills the obvious into you, which you can't seem to do!"
The person in the room was none other than Last Order, who rambled on about Accelerator's lack of common sense after throwing a pillow at the side of his head. He leans against the wall as he takes the pillow off his face and Last Order continued with,"Taking that kind of care is very important!"
"*sigh* Is that right?" Accelerator lazily responds and Ester questions them,"W-What's going on? Why are you starting a fight?"
"Why are you still not dressed?! Says Misaka as Misaka feels agitated by this woman's overly-bold appearance."
"What do you mean?" Ester asks but then she looks down at her body and then realises what she was saying.
"Oh, the clothes? They're in the drying right now. Besides, it doesn't bother me."
"But you should let it bother you! Says Misaka as Misaka is unsure of what the sense the person in front of her has!"
"Why?"
"They're called feminine sensibilities! Says Misaka as Misaka shows off the knowledge she acquired reading books."
"Is that right? Okay. I'll be more careful from now on." Ester replies as she puts on clothes borrowed from the hospital, a nurse uniform.
Last Order eyes her down but then suddenly, the door to his ward slid open and a voice came through,"It's pretty loud in here, huh?"
The man that appeared through the door was Heaven Canceller and he continued with,"Okay, Last Order, it's about time for your checkup."
"Mm-hmm." She says as she walks over to Heaven Canceller and then as she hid behind Heaven Canceller, she said,"Okay, I'll see you later. Don't do anything weird, says Misaka as Misaka looks at you suspiciously."
"Tch, just leave already, and have him fix that messed up head of yours." Accelerator replies.
"There's no need! Bleh!" She sticks her tongue out as she pulls one of her eye sockets down and she runs out of the room. After she leaves the room, Heaven Canceller turns to Accelerator and tells him,"About that girl in the carpark, her name was Hitokawa Hasami. Antiskill requested an autopsy for her. Though there was nothing I could do for her as her body was dead for three days, I did find this in her mouth."
Heaven Canceller pulls out a parchment with a weird symbol on it, sealed in a ziplock bag and passes it to Accelerator and tells him,"Well, I'm still in the midst of teaching Misaka how to speak properly."
Then he turns to the door and leaves with a final sentence,"Don't do that next time. Memory loss is something no one should go through because it is almost irreparable."
He closes the door behind him and Accelerator only clicked his tongue and said,"That much I know, old man."
Then Ester approaches Accelerator and tells him,"Can you pass that to me?"
"Ha? What is this?" Accelerator questions her.
"It's a low-level spiritual charm."
"A what?"
"Do you have a few moments?"
———4th September 3:04p.m.————
"Who would have thought a damn hospital could have a morgue, and a machine for the Sisters to sleep in..." Accelerator thought as he leaned against the wall in the morgue.
Then Ester pulls back a cloth covering the deceased body of Hitokawa Hasami, revealing only the face and tells him,"My family created a kind of necromancy whereby we can transplant a false soul into a dead body, and freely control it."
"The fuck is she saying?" Accelerator thinks as Ester continues,"But what we have here isn't a dead body, it's a person. I taught him how to do necromancy without understanding that. I was warned against carelessly teaching others how to do it. But because of me, she was used to do something abominable."
"This brat...might not be so bad after all..." He thought as she pulls the charm out of her pocket.
"Let's take a look here." She puts the charm on Hasami's chest and the whole room starts to glow white.
"Sure enough, the conduit is still open. As it stands, she'd call down her drifting residual information. Even if Hitokawa Hasami was buried in a grave, she would be able to crawl out of it." Right after that, a heavy gust of wind blew their hair and a magic circle appeared on the ground.
"And not just that. If her vessel is left neglected, she'll be unable to pass through Heaven's gates. I'm going to restart Hitokawa Hasami. I'll also reaffix a Huotou, a false soul that I created, and then close her spiritual conduit."
"What the hell is happening...An esper power that requires weird magician shit? She must be using history and legends to reinforce her own paradigm, and then extending out her personal reality." Accelerator thinks to himself as he tries to process what is happening. But as he was processing, a weird white liquid seeped out of Hasami's body and floated above her face to form a brain.
"What the..." Accelerator whispers as he extends his only free hand out. His left hand. He got closer and closer, as the bright light flashed into his eyes and just as he touched it, Ester shouted,"Stop!"
In a split second, the brain disappeared and the sound of glass shattering echoed throughout the room, and the talisman which was laying on Hasami's body had disappeared.
"What was that...?" Ester asks him but he just stared blankly at the body of Hasami.
"I don't know..."
"You startled me, touching her residual thoughts without any warning like that. Uncontrolled residual thoughts can be dangerous information, and people refer to them as site-bound spirits. We necromancers use those residual thoughts as a key code to let us slip a pseudo-soul into the body. But..." She stops as she looks at the body and says,"I think the ritual was disrupted..."
"Necromancers...?" Accelerator muttered as he looks at her and then the door to the morgue opened up. Two Anti-Skill officers stood at the door with each of them wearing heavy, baggy blue clothing, one person with blue hair that reached down to his shoulders, the other person with black hair that looked like your average joe.
"What are the two of you doing here? This is not a dating spot." The blue haired officer says as they entered through the doors, and the door closed behind them. The black haired person had something behind his back, and Accelerator noticed that as his right hand was unnaturally hidden behind his back.
"Right right, we're leaving." Accelerator says as he walks out slowly with Ester beside him and just as he was about to pass the officer with black hair,he accidentally trips and knocks down the black haired officer down with him.
"Tsk, do you not know how to walk?!" The officer shouted at Accelerator.
"Whoops, my bad." Accelerator smirks as he gets up and continues walking out.
When they got out, Ester asks him,"What are going to do—"
"Shhh..." Accelerator signals to her by putting his index finger on his lips and he smirks as he places the sole of his right root on the door and manipulated the vectors in his feet and the door, and pushed the door flying all the way to the black haired officer.
"Yo! I forgot to give this back to you." Accelerator puts up a small metal bottle in his left hand and the blue haired officer cursed at him,"You brat! How did you get that?!"
"Simple, all I had to do was slip it past your hands. I highly doubt you could even feel my touch while you're in that heavy ass suit."
"Brats shouldn't be touching that. Now, how about handing it over?"
"Ohhh...since I'm such a brat, let me open this up and see what you were hiding!" Accelerator pops open the lid and threw the liquid in front of him. The officer barely dodged it as the purplish-blue liquid flew past him and landed on the place where Hasami's body was placed.
"Nice dodging. That's how it's supposed to be." He tosses the metal bottle aside and told Ester to "scram". She nods her head and runs out of the morgue as the blue haired officer smirks and says,"Disciplining disobedient brats like you is my job."
He reaches his hand behind him and presses a button, which sent a metal arm-like thing coming out, and providing the officer with a metal baton.
"Now then, it's time to dish out some justice! First, I'll break your limbs apart. Next, I'll beat that girl up and bring her back here. Then, I'm gonna rape her in front of your helpless ass."
"Tch, I swear, all you folks can think about is pleasuring yourselves. Is it really that nice to do it?"
"Ha! You're a damn virgin. Well, to be expected, since you're a brat and all."
"Ya done talkin'?"
"Yeah, I was just waiting for you...Not!" The officer lifts his baton up and tries to hit Accelerator but Accelerator redirected the impact and broke the weapon into half. However, the piece that came out was sent flying at such a high speed that it hit the ceiling and the whole room started to shake.
"Tch, looks like this place ain't gonna hold up much longer. Well, time to make my escape." The officer uses the remains of the baton and throws it into the ceiling, provoking the destruction of the whole hospital. Accelerator curses under his breath but what could he do? He could redirect all the debris away from him, but not from others.
"Tch, this power is useless..." He looks at his right hand with disgust and the officer uses that moment to make a break for it from Accelerator's left side. Naturally, Accelerator lifted his left arm up to block the officer, however, the officer pushed his weak and frail arm away from him and continued running out.
"Oi! Get back—" At that moment, Accelerator's electrode had turned off for unknown reasons and his body laid dead on the ground as debris started to fall around him.
Was the #1 going to die just like that? Due to the battery malfunctioning? He could not tell. But all he knew was that he had blacked out right after.
——4th September 5:23p.m.——
In the darkness, Accelerator sat there with multiple hands wrapped around him. Was this the feeling of warmth? No, there was no heat. They were clinging on to him. But for what? Who are they? Accelerator only chuckled at who they are.
"They're the innocents that I've killed."
"What the fuck had I been doing...?"
"I'm just as naive as Yoshikawa was. I thought killing clones meant nothing, in order to protect those around me, I wanted to become stronger so I wouldn't unintentionally harm them."
He sighs as he looks up into the darkness and in the darkness, he hears a voice.
"Dear Master, what do you desire for the most?"
"Who the hell are you?"
"I am only the thing you call 'useless', my dear master."
"What?"
"It seems you are not so self-aware. Well, that does not matter. You should wake up soon."
Then a hand presses up against his face and he is sent waking up. He touches his own face with his hands and then he looks around and mutters,"What the hell happened...? It looks like the hospital is still safe but I wonder where those bastards went afterwards..."
He grumbles for a while and then drops his hands next to his lap just to feel something fluffy yet prickly at the same time. When he looks down, he sees Ester lying next to his lap and then he sighs.
"What is this idiot doing..." He ruffles her hair a bit and then she starts to murmur something before she wakes up and looks up at Accelerator. Her eyes opens wide as she hugs him tight and shouts,"Teacher! I'm so glad you're awake!"
"Ha? I'm not your damn teacher, don't call me that." He pushes her away and asks her,"What happened after I passed out?"
"Oh...uhhh...I'm sorry! I let him get away!"

"I-I'm sorry...I had to drag you out of the morgue after you passed out...I'm sorry teacher."
"...*sigh* Whatever. Where's the brat?"
"Brat? Who's that?"
"The small little girl who was following me around all day."
"Oh! You mean Last Order? Well...the thing is..."
She kept quiet for a while as she looked down at the bed and then,"She got caught by the man."
"..."
"..."
"...What?"
"She got caught by him as she was walking back to the hospital."
"What?!"
"T-Teacher...you're being too loud."
"Tch...what do I do..." Accelerator ponders over the possibilities in his head but he could not keep his head straight and he was about to turn on his electrode and break out of the hospital, when Ester just stopped him in time and pushed him down onto the bed.
"Teacher! Please keep calm! This isn't like you!"
"Shut up! What the hell do you even know about me!?" He shouts as he tries to get up, but he was too weak to break free from Ester's grasp.
"Tch, get off me!"
"No, I'll solve this problem on my own. I'm sorry that my selfishness has led to the dearest person to you being harmed. I'll make sure to get her back, teacher!" She takes his electrode and plucks out the battery from it and slips it into the charger.
"This is the least I can do for you. I'm sorry yet again." She bows her head towards him as he lays there helpless and unable to speak nor scream. He was going to go berserk. He desperately tries to reach for the battery but he couldn't. But he also knew something. She most likely didn't know where the people who took her were, so he calmed down for a bit.
She was a dunce. By no means was she smart if she could not even use a drink dispenser. That much he knew. So he took his time trying to reach for the battery, but each time he lifted his arm up, it would go limp and drop back down.
He laid there and tried to think of a plan, but all he could do was pray for the doctor to come, or anyone at that.
-4th September 7:04p.m.-
Accelerator was still in bed waiting impatiently for the past one and a half hours. No one came, not the nurses, not even the doctor. He started to doubt the legitimacy of the doctor's medical license. Even if he spouted nonsense, he was cursing them in his head.
Finally, the door opens and he expected to see the doctor, however, what he saw was the most unexpected appearance he would ever see. Past the corner were four girls, Frenda, Takitsubo, Mugino and Kinuhata.
"Yo, I've come to collect my debts." Mugino said. Though Accelerator couldn't understand what she just said, their presence alone annoyed him. They kept silent for a while and Mugino asked him,"You know, staring for that long can be creepy you know?"
Then Kinuhata walks up to him and hears a whirring sound. She looks at his desk and sees a battery charging. She proceeds to look at his neck and sighs.
"He can't understand us right now, Mugino. But with this..." She plucks out the battery and inserts into the electrode where it made a whirring noise once inserted in and the first thing they hear from him is...
"The fuck are all of you doing here?"
"Seriously? Some manners you got there. Won't people usually thank their saviours first?" Mugino mocks him as she smirks at him and tries to reach for his battery, only to get her hand slapped away by him.
"Fuck off. Mind your own business. What'd you come here for anyway?"
"To collect my 100,000 yen. You haven't paid me yet, have you?"
"...Tch. Do you even have the information I want?"
"Of course I do. Though it's not my job to do these types of investigations, but at the same time, we can't ignore a client now, can we? I've dug through different sources to find these information."
"Then get on with it."
"Okay. The group you asked for, D.A., or Disciplinary Action, is a group solely made up of ex Anti-Skill officers. Turns out their group is funded by the governing board and a few other sponsors from the dark side. They'll do anything to achieve their 'justice'. Their term of 'justice' is punishing the espers in Academy City and following the instructions given to them by their sponsors. I heard they attacked the #2 level 5 earlier."
"The #2? What did they want with him?"
"They wanted someone who you should you know very well, Accelerator."
"Huh? Who?"
"The Dark May Project."
At that phrase, his eyes opened wide. He couldn't believe it. The kids in that project were still alive. He had thought they were all tortured to death because he knew who was the one behind that project. It was someone he despised. Someone he can never forget. The person who stripped his humanity away. Whatever ideals he had lived for, that person took it all away.
"Kihara Amata...Just saying his name makes me want to puke. The Kiharas are bunch of demented scientists creating a level 6. They will use anyone as test subjects, even themselves, given that what they are testing is safe."
They all kept silent as he said that but he looks at them and sighs, and tells them,"Let's not waste time here. I need to get back at them."
"Do you even know where they are?" Takitsubo asks.
"Not really, but I'm paying you all, so do your damn job."
"Heh, arrogant as always. I hope you lose your whole brain." Mugino mocks him.
"Just shut up and get going already." He says as he gets up and slams his crutch on the floor, making a loud thud as he makes his way to the door.
"Ready or not, here I come."
