"Grauugh!", the Lord roared.
When the Moonlight had pierced its payload into the tumor the anti-Heresy properties moved quickly.
It wasn't one of the small tumors. Gear made sure to lock onto one of the more substantial sized ones. As a result, upon the tumor being erased, the many condensed orbs of water had vanished.
The Lord thrashed about, shattering Opportunity and Ryolu's avatar. It rolled several times in the Sea, thrashing about in pain.
Nobody made a move. They all watched what was happening. Was this the final blow? Was their victory assured? They could only watch.
The Lord raised its head, its thrashing slowing to a stop. It almost looked like it shed a tear. Then in the next moment the water echoed and spoke.
"It is. . . not enough."
The Lord could not wrestle back control. The remaining Heresy remained in charge. The Lord was still corrupted.
