Normally Travis wouldn't think twice about such bets. Granting 'anything' usually came at a sharp cost, and could only be granted by the powerful. If someone like Flinnder made such a claim Travis would work extremely hard for that reward.
In the case of Wrock, it was actually pretty tempting. From the time Travis had spent with Last Lights it became clear to him that their assets, although pretty substantial compared to most players, was actually severely lacking compared to other Guilds. Even more unpopular options of Guilds held more resources than Last Lights.
They were too humble when it came to loot. Or perhaps too capable that they didn't need it.
So Wrock's wish of 'anything' would never hold as much weight. There was one exception, and that was his strength. That battle against Averoth still replayed in Travis' mind. To have someone of that level owe you the promise of 'anything' was very tempting.
