The whine of a plane flying overhead entered Rue's ears. Shielding her eyes from the sun she looked up to the mass of metal gliding through the air.
"A wonder of creation. How does it move without the use of mana?"
"This world's own magic, this thing they call science.", Akiol lifted his suitcase out of their hired ride.
"Not even the Wyverns of our world could carry so many people. If I had access to something like this. . ."
"Our war would be significantly more brutal if that was the case."
Rue had to admit this was correct, "Indeed. Perhaps I was thinking only of the logistics."
Thanking the driver Akiol took a deep breath, "You ready?"
Looking from the sky towards Akiol she stared into his eyes with a knowing gaze, "Are you?"
