The door to the final building of the compound creaked open. Hank and Rue took charge in clearing the building. Rue was clearly more casual about it, while Hank took a tactical approach to clearing doors and the doorways.
Akiol followed behind while cleaning up his nose. In just a few moments they had checked for any lingering threats yet found nothing. Once they regrouped Hank couldn't help but look in every corner of the room despite clearing it himself.
Rue walked up to a series of white machines. They clicked and whirred as they functioned. Crouching near a large box-shaped machine she put a hand on it, "Reminds me of. . . unpleasant memories."
Akiol glanced in her direction before moving towards an interface. Turning it on he saw a series of lines on its screen.
