Unexpectedly the Guilds slinked away. With Akiol having absorbed the items dropped the only evidence of their being battle was the significant damage to the surrounding forest. However mana would slowly repair that too.
Calling Yielya over Akiol whispered to her, "Do you mind looking into why they did this? I'm worried about what this was all for."
"Sure. You leaving to meet up with Hank?"
Akiol nodded, "It seemed serious."
"Do you need help?"
"I'll manage.", Akiol smiled.
Looking Akiol up and down Yielya hesitated before asking, "A girl. . . huh?"
"There's been some unpredictable encounters.", Akiol was exasperated.
"Mhm. . . it just feels like you've been a bit distant as of late."
Akiol felt his words get caught in his throat. It was true. He had been avoiding his party to not trouble them with his battles. There was still far too many questions he needed answered, but with the growing threat of Horizon's Origin it would be necessary to inform everyone.
