Akiol's vision cleared.
He was in a puddle, or rather he was the puddle. After a moment of adjusting to his current state he manipulated his body and took back the shape of his avatar.
He frowned and flexed his hands, it felt different. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but it wasn't what he was used to.
A voice spoke, "Does it feel alright?"
Akiol was slightly startled, he hadn't sensed anyone. He looked up to be greeted by a wall of slime. Immediately recognizing who this was he answered, "Strange, it feels different."
"As it should, for your own slime has long since left this world."
Akiol raised an eyebrow, "Left this world?"
"When slime loses its core, it will fade away and become part of nature. This is why our bodies cannot be stored."
Akiol continued to adjust to his new body as he asked, "So this is a new set of slime?"
"Yes, I had carefully created a new body for you."
Akiol stopped and looked at the King Slime, "Thank you. . ."
