The thing about Zangeshu looking more 'mature' was just the changes Rean had made. Zangeshu had to look like a kid back then, but now, Zangeshu is supposed to be over sixty, so there was no reason to hide his real appearance anymore. It was pretty much the same thing for Rean, Roan, and the others.
Nonetheless, his presence there highly puzzled President Bugel. What did he have to do with Wisfreya at all? Perhaps he was also a disciple of this so-called master that Wisfreya got?

Back in the Divine Military Academy, Kentucky was curious about the situation and couldn't help but go see Rean. "You really let Zangeshu go? Wasn't he the best Formations Master Disciple you could ever hope for? You always talked about how his precision was even better than yours."
Rean sighed in response. He obviously knew that. "Well, what exactly do you want me to do? Tell him to stay or force him? I was just as shocked when I heard him say that he would go with her."
