( Yuuki's POV )
We were quick and efficient with our preparations and in less than a day we created a great event, the Colosseum was filled for the first time with inhabitants of all the allied kingdoms, so many people couldn't get a seat, so we had to create giant floating screens in the capitals and big cities.
People were enjoying good food while waiting for the event to start and I was on a balcony with the rest of the alliance kings.
Jamukha: Yuuki, you should have told us about this event earlier, I would definitely have participated.
Yuuki: Well I was going to do a small event as a test run but things just kept growing, next year there will definitely be an open registration, I should expand this coliseum too.
Jamukha: jajaja then you can count on my assistance.
When it was time to start I gave an opening speech, that was something simple since I didn't spend much time on it, the teams began to enter the coliseum and I introduced them acting as an announcer.
The first to enter were the Rias and Sona teams with their peerage, then the Fallen Angels team entered, the leader of this team was Kokabiel, and the other members were Milttet, Asia, Kalawarner, Xenovia, Akitsu, Uzume, Chiho, Kaie, Saya-shi, Raynare y Byakko, summoned creatures also counted towards the number of members.
The next team was the Sekirei disciplinary committee, the members were Kuno, Mitsuki, Mitsuha, Yashima, Kusano, Joyce, Haruhime, Emilia, Mamako and Miu as leader.
The fifth team was the zombie extermination squad, in front was Saya and behind her came Reina, Saeko, Lilith, Julie, Miyabi, Kyoko, Kyoka, Felli, Rei, and Stella.
Next came the team born in this world, the princess guard, they were Yumina, Sue, Linze, Elze, Yae, Leo, Lu, Hilde, Barghest, Yukikaze, and Charlotte, Yumina was obviously the leader.
The next team was the Order of the Moon, named after their leader Ranni, the other members were Shera and her Thunderbird Blitz, Melina, Lisanna, Roderika, Hikari, Sora, Akira, Akane, Erica, Liliana, Astraea, Ikaros and Yuri Suzuki, she was the member of the occclub who had feelings for Hajime.
Behind them came the Hollow team, Harribel was with her three subordinates, plus the soul reaper twins, and finally Shizuka, Seiryu, Suzaku, and Genbu.
The penultimate team was the one from the IS academy, its leader was Tsukiumi, she went with Claire, Cecilia, Charl, Origami, Laura, Kanzashi, Tatenashi, Chifuyu and Maya.
Last was my team, with Mythra, Pyara, Pheliss, Takao, Atago, Rhym, Sif and Grimm, Mythra was acting as leader while I continued with the ceremony.
With all the participants in the arena I began to explain how the competition would go, it would be divided into four rounds, the type of competition and the participating teams would be chosen at random, depending on the result the teams could win between zero and one hundred points, this will be the same in the first three rounds, but in the last round the maximum points to be won are two hundred.
After giving that explanation to officially kick off the first Rating festival, fireworks filled the sky and the Colosseum was filled with thunderous applause, then a digital roulette wheel appeared in the sky, it spun for a few seconds and then the first competition was decided, the words King of the Hill appeared in the sky and below that the participating teams, Team Hollow, Team Rias, and the Moon Order.
The rest of the teams not mentioned left the arena and it began to transform for the competition, several square stone platforms rose from the ground and together created a strangely shaped mountain.
Yuuki: Ok, these are the rules, each team will choose five participants, participants will receive points for every second a platform is under their control, and the higher the platform, the more points they will receive, If there are members of different teams on a platform, the points will be divided between them.
I gave the teams a few moments after explaining the rules to choose their participants, Rias went along with her most experienced devils, Issei, Kiba, Akeno, and Koneko.
Harribel chose the other Arrancar and the Soul Reaper Twins, and the last team included Ranni, Melina, Astraea, Ikaros y Erica.
When the siren sounded, most of the participants took off from the ground, Arrancars and soul reapers could use spiritual energy to walk on air and it was not much different from those who flew using their wings.
In this competition it would seem that those with the ability to fly would have a massive advantage but I had something prepared for them, The platforms were full of traps to delay the participants, otherwise this would not be interesting but before those could be activated the girls on the ground made their move.
Ranni and Melina used their spells and enchantments, they filled the sky with a cloud of Glintstone magic and light particles, turning the sky into a giant minefield, Erica took the land route and took control of one of the lower platforms and was the first to accumulate points and she put her team at the top of the leaderboard, the other teams followed suit and divided their forces, the strongest continuing to try to take the top while a few pairs held back to dominate the lower platforms, Kiba and Akeno on Rias's side and the soul reaper Fujimaru and Apacci on the Hollow team.
After setting up their trap, Ranni and Melina followed behind Erica, racking up points as they slowly ascended the mountain, the order of the moon remained in the lead with its ascension and the screens focused on those who were dodging magical blasts and trying to take the top.
Yuuki: It seems that the Order of the Moon has taken a firm hold on the lead, but it remains to be seen who will take the top platform; that will be what determines the winner!
I did my best by giving commentary and encouraging the audience, and what I said was also true, Ranni's team seemed like the favorites to win, but if a team takes complete control of the top, those small accumulated points won't be worth much.
