Chapter 1 - chapter 1 : Origin

Chapter 1: Origin

In the void, a tiny sparkle of light flickered endlessly, drifting without direction for an unknown length of time. Suddenly, the light stabilized, and a voice echoed through the emptiness.

"Where am I…? Ah… I remember now. I died while watching TV."

The voice paused, as if embarrassed.

"And speaking of my death… it was shameful. I choked on food."

Another sigh followed.

"My name is Alex. I suffered from a disease, so I spent most of my life in hospitals, watching TV and playing games. And in the end… I died while eating. Damn it."

Without warning, a powerful voice boomed across the void, shaking the very fabric of existence.

"What a surprise. After five full Origin Cycles, a soul has finally entered my domain. Interesting."

Alex felt a chill.

"Who are you?" he asked. "Are you a higher being… a god? What happens to me now? Am I going to heaven or hell?"

The voice answered calmly, yet carried overwhelming authority.

"I am Origin. Mortal, I am far beyond gods and higher beings. You may call me the Origin God. As for heaven or hell—no. The moment you entered here, your connection to those realms was severed."

There was a brief pause before the being continued.

"However, I will give you a choice. You may be reborn in a fantasy world of your liking, retaining your memories, or be reborn in an ordinary world with no memories at all. Decide wisely, young mortal."

After what felt like countless eons, Alex finally spoke.

"Alright. I'll take your offer. But what's the catch? Nothing in existence is free. And can I make wishes? If so, how many?"

A faint sense of amusement filled the void.

"You are smart. I ask for nothing in return—only to satisfy my curiosity. I wish to see whether a being blessed with my power, bloodline, and foundation can withstand it… and perhaps grow to rival or surpass me."

The voice grew stern.

"But I have one request. Do not cause unnecessary death or destruction."

Alex nodded.

"And yes, you will receive seven wishes. Not three."

"Okay," Alex replied. "But I need time to think."

"Take all the time you need."

Years passed in silence.

Finally, Alex spoke again.

"I'm ready."

He took a deep breath and began listing his wishes.

"First, I want an adaptable and ever-evolving body, mind, and soul—with no limits.

Second, I want the Eye of Illusion and the Heavenly Eye of the Dao Law from the Fan Universe, with no restrictions.

Third, I want Zhao Feng's entire life experience, along with all his artifacts permanently linked to my soul.

Fourth, I want a universe attached to my body and soul, with no limits.

Fifth, I want the Library of Heaven's Path bound to my soul, also without limits.

Sixth, I want an AI chip connected to both my soul and the Library of Heaven's Path. It must be absolutely loyal to me and capable of inter-verse travel.

Seventh, I want my powers, bloodline, and genes to be completely undetectable—immune to discovery, experimentation, or analysis by any higher beings or equipment."

Alex paused, then added,

"I want to be born in the Naruto world during the Nine-Tails attack. My backstory should be this: my mother is from the Senju and Uzumaki clans, and my father from the Uchiha, Hyuga, and Namikaze clans. I want the Yin half of the Nine-Tails sealed within me, without anyone noticing—no detectable seal."

He continued firmly,

"My spirit palace should be a vast forest filled with Origin energy, and my heritage must remain hidden from everyone."

The Origin God was silent for a moment.

"Very well," the voice said. "As a final gift, I will grant you a status system, appraisal ability, and inventory. I will also bestow a weakened version of my power and bloodline, along with the Origin God Mind, Body, and Soul Cultivation Manual."

The void trembled slightly.

"I will add a life-steal ability that evolves without limits, as well as a starter pack. That is all. Good luck, mortal."

"Wait!" Alex shouted.

"What is it?" the Origin God asked.

"Can I change my appearance? It will be permanent."

"Approved."

Alex began designing his new body—standing at six feet five inches, with an athletic build, silver-white hair, and crimson-red eyes.

"Very well," the Origin God said. "Your journey begins now."

Alex felt himself fading away.

"Thank you," he whispered.

Those were the last words of the main character before he vanished.
