Chapter 5 - REWIND ME - CHAPTER 5

" One for you and one for me, there are many ATV cars here. "I said while pointing to the cars in front of us. I want to be able to ride it alone, I don't want anyone with me. There are many ATV cars here, and I think Leighton prefers to be alone too, because it's a hassle when we are two in the same car.








"We can just share, I don't know how to drive that either. "Leighton said and preceded me in riding an ATV. He did not know, I don't believe him. It is impossible for him to ride this for the first time, they are rich.





"I'm the driver, right, so I'll ride first." I said as I pulled him out of the car. It's annoying, it should be me here alone in the car. He will regret riding it, I said and smirked. I have another plan in my mind. I turned and pressed the button to start the ATV. Leighton also went behind me, this is going to be fun. I know the route here, you will pass a lot of trees and mud. I pulled over the ATV, car and it quickly advances. Leighton clung to my waist, maybe he's surprised haha.






" Slowly, you scare me." He said at the same time tighten his hand on the hem of my shirt. We haven't even been able to leave, or have gone far, but he is scared. How much more when we went too far he may be very nervous.






"That's OK, let's go!." I said at the same time as the ATV function and I went to the route. There were many trees around so I couldn't help but keep an eye on them. The road is also a bit muddy, the branches of the tree covers the light, so it is a bit dark here. Leighton, on the other hand, tighten the hug into my clothes because the road is full of stones, and the car is also moving fast. As our car approached the mud, I accelerated so the mud splashed on our clothes and faces. I turned to Leighton, and laughed at the mud on his face. I would have wiped the mud off his face, using my hand, but he turned my head on the road.






"Just look at on the road." he said and barely touched my shoulder so I could focus on driving. Is he so scared that we might have an accident, I told myself. I'm good at driving it, he's just too paranoid.





"How much more mud can we go through?" he said and he complained to me.






"Just get ready whoooo." I shouted as the car descended into the mud. I really enjoy it now, especially since I have a coward like Leighton. After a few minutes we were on the road and finally there was no mud to pass through. Leighton also let go of his hand holding my clothes earlier. He was no longer afraid and confident that he raised his hand because it was windy here. The road is flat and there are no rocks. We stopped at the side of the road first and rested. Leighton and I just sat looking at the rice field in front of us. I turned to Leighton and we looked at each other appears awkward.







"You're sweating." I said as I reached for the handkerchief tied to my hair. I removed it from my hair and gave it to him because our clothes were already full of mud. He was hesitant to accept, because the handkerchief came from my hair.




"I don't want that, maybe there's lice." he said and pulling my hand away that holding the handkerchief.







"You're still choosy." I said and wiped the handkerchief on his face. For a moment our eyes met. I averted his eyes and looked at the rice field again. He got out of the car and took a picture of the rice field in front of us. While I remained just sitting on an ATV. The view is beautiful, and the sunset we see today is even more beautiful. I suddenly thought of the plan I had previously wanted to make. Now is the right time I said in my mind and laughed. I pressed the button and turned on the ATV. Leighton turned to where I was and now ran to chase me.




"Natasha!. "He shouted as he ran to chase me. I just kept laughing while I could see his angry expression. I stopped the car, and waited for him to arrive. I handed him the handkerchief he doesn't want to take and he took it and then wiped it with his sweat.




"What's wrong, why did you leave me." he explained to me, but instead of answering him, I just ignored him.





"Let's go, it's already afternoon." I said at the same time so we could leave, Leighton also got on. I turned on the ATV and we left back in the car. We went through the shortcut so we could easily get to the car. I removed Leighton shirt I was wearing, because it was full of mud. I only wore a two piece swimsuit, because the car would get dirty. Leighton first took Martell's clothes and shorts in the back of the car and changed. He also gave me Martell's shirt. Martell's bag was left in the back of the car, maybe he hasn't fixed it yet because we just got here.







"Let's go home, Martell might get sick because his clothes are wet. Thank you for driving the ATV earlier, even if you almost left me. But I still don't forgive you!." He said at the same time pointed at me because I did leave him. Well, that's not my intention, I'm just like that.






After 15 minutes we arrived at our rented house and saw Martell lying on his bed motionless. I decided to take a bath and change because I will rest first. It's already 4:00pm and I'm very tired.
