A mansion on the Aegean Sea.
"Back yet?"
"Yeah."
Lying on the deck chair, Gaius heard footsteps approaching from the hall to the terrace, took off his sunglasses, turned his head, and cast an enigmatic glance at his daughter returning from the island country.
Doris sat directly on another deck chair, and the mansion's servants brought snacks and drinks before quietly retreating.
The atmosphere on the terrace froze due to the silence between the father and daughter.
Ahem.
Putting his sunglasses back on, the laid-back Heavenly King couldn't suppress his impatience. He coughed heavily, looked straight ahead without shifting his gaze, and pretended to ask nonchalantly, "Did you meet him?"
"In fact, I was well received by the Tiqie Family and stayed at the most prestigious mansion in the island country that very day," Doris said with a slight smile, casting a sidelong glance at her father.
She knew her dad would lose first.
