"What rumors?"
Sofia lifted her head, her gaze on Finn carrying a hint of scrutiny.
As a Divine Favored of the Eve Goddess, she was always quite sensitive to news related to the Goddess, and Finn's hesitant expression gave her a foreboding feeling.
Finn hesitated for a moment, then looked up and said:
"Lady Sofia, there are many rumors in the south now, saying that Her Divine Majesty had actually gone to the abyss when the divine-demon war started and was ambushed by the Abyss Evil God and sealed away..."
Upon hearing Finn's words, Sofia's expression changed subtly, and she let out a cold snort:
"Absurd!"
Finn hurriedly lowered his head again.
And after a few seconds of silence, he heard Sofia's voice again:
"Finn, where did you hear these rumors from?"
Finn replied respectfully:
"Many places, now in many places in the south there are such rumors, but... after tracing the source, I found it seems to originate from the Underworld."
