The bustling dock was crowded with people.
Small and large ships were moored in the bay, flags waving.
From time to time, new sailing ships could be seen coming from afar, entering the port, and slowly docking.
Most of the sailing ships came from downstream of the river, and whenever a ship docked, a large number of passengers would push and shove their way onto the dock.
Most of them carried luggage, looking destitute and anxious, surprisingly all refugees.
On the shore, the city guards had long been stationed at the dock, maintaining order.
Suddenly, a sailboat with a red flag slowly sailed from afar, the golden scepter emblem on the red flag strikingly conspicuous.
As this sailboat approached, the surrounding sailboats surprisingly moved to the sides, making way for it.
Seeing this scene, a refugee on an imperial sailboat couldn't help but cast a glance, asking the crew:
"Which family's ship is that, and why are all the ships giving it way?"
