Divine Defense Barrier?
Are these humanoid monsters not elves?
Looking at that familiar glow in the distance, Cyber suddenly fell into doubt.
Though he wasn't one of the Second Test players, he had played in the game for over a year and considered himself quite knowledgeable about the "Elf Kingdom."
In the setting of the "Elf Kingdom," only the believers of a True God can deploy a Divine Defense Barrier using a divine statue; without a True God's blessing and favor, it's impossible for the barrier to function.
The existence of a Divine Defense Barrier here implies that there is a True God behind these humanoid monsters.
But elves... cannot possibly worship any deity other than the Goddess.
Unless, this Divine Defense Barrier belongs to the Goddess.
That makes it even stranger.
If it really is the Goddess's Divine Defense Barrier, then with the Goddess's benevolence, how could she allow a group of elf believers to live in such a place?
