And if there was anything about these elves that offered Andris some comfort, it was perhaps that from beginning to end, it was always those same five elves attacking him...
Though other elves had surrounded him later, they hadn't made a move.
If they had attacked, Andris probably would have died on the spot.
Just as Andris thought this was the last shred of conscience the elves had, he once again heard their chatter.
"Why isn't it over yet? You guys are so slow, do you need help?"
Not over yet?
Andris was somewhat stunned.
He instinctively glanced around, only to be astonished to find that, somehow, he was the only one still fighting, and behind him, not a single human or Half-Beast was left standing.
*In an instant, his heart turned cold.*
The voices of the elves continued:
"No way, this guy is kind of tough... Don't steal our kill!"
"Yeah, we've been at it for a while, don't steal our experience!"
"Hey, just one silver and it's taking this long, weakling."
