He stood up and followed Ji Anning onto the stage.
"And this is…?" The emcee sized Charles up, then looked at Ji Anning in confusion.
"This is my dad." Ji Anning hugged Charles' arm and introduced his identity to the emcee. Her voice was loud enough for everyone present to hear.
At those words, the people who didn't know the situation were all a bit stunned.
The emcee was the same, "Miss Anning's father?"
"What, is there a problem?" Ji Anning raised a brow, a flash of displeasure in her eyes.
Then she turned to Charles, smiling slightly. "Dad."
That warm, affectionate "Dad" got Charles so excited he could hardly contain himself. Ji Anning then looked at Ji Chicheng; her smile got even sweeter and softer. "Hubby, this is my dad. He prepared a big red envelope for you. Hurry up and call him Dad."
This damn girl, her guts are getting bigger and bigger.
Ji Chicheng glared at Ji Anning through gritted teeth, his gaze flicking to Charles with an icy attitude.
