Suddenly, a familiar voice called out to her from behind; it was Ji Jingfeng, and her back tensed for a moment.
Before she had the chance to turn around, another sharp female voice, filled with biting fury, called out her name, "Ji Anning!"
The voice approached with ill intent; she quickly turned around, and as expected, Bai Guo charged at her with a fierce look on her face, raising her hand to strike Anning's face.
With quick reflexes, Anning caught Bai Guo's wrist just as her hand was about to touch her face, and glared at her coldly, warning, "Miss Bai, don't casually lay a hand on others' faces—others have hands too."
Staring at Anning's fair and rosy cheeks, Bai Guo suddenly lost control, raising her other hand to grab Anning's collar and shook her violently like a madwoman, "You cruel woman, give me back my child, you made it so I can never have children again."
