Vezrakar's face twisted ugly as he witnessed what happened right after the domain was canceled. He knew it would be bad, but he was not expecting it to be this bad. Those spirits were absurdly strong, and the mercenaries were helpless.
They truly underestimated Tang Shaoyang. The gears in his brain started to move, thinking of how to salvage the situation with what he had. He focused on the battlefield and didn't notice an incoming shot.
"Watch out!" Nosha called out, but that was too late.
Vezrakar saw a plasma beam coming toward his head. His instincts screamed, warning him how dangerous the beam might be. He froze for a moment, but the Lafreser Clan's Matriarch acted in time. She formed a thick ice wall in front of Vezrakar.
However, that thick ice wall failed to do its job. The plasma melted the ice, going through the wall. While the ice wall failed to block the plasma beam, it slowed the beam. That gave Nain of the God Judgement time to react as well.
