Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Memories

The next morning I awoke around the same time I always do, it's mainly out of habit from doing it for many years now.I took a shower and got dressed, went down stairs made myself some breakfast after eating I left for school as always. This was my morning routine it's always the same.

I arrived at school on time around half seven and I went straight to my classroom and took my seat. I noticed that both Leon and Loyd were too busy in a deep conversation about something which was probably girls like always to noticed that I had arrived.

After they finished their deep conversation they both let out a deep sigh which was unusual. I'm not saying they don't sigh I'm just saying I've never saw them sigh in school. They both are known for being cheerful and not letting anything bother them. It does make me wonder what or who could of bothered them this much. That it would follow them to school.

"You two seem to be down a bit today. Did something happen?" I asked

"Can you believe it that our own little sister told our parents about are activities after school" replied Leon

Leon and Lloyd's younger sister? To be Frank I've never actually met her but I have heard of her, she is pretty famous among the boys in the grade below. She is suppose to be both beautiful and smart which is a dangerous combination.

"They were furious about it." Said Loyd

"They told us if we have time to waste at a arcade we have time to focus on study" muttered Leon

To be honest I'm surprised that their parents hadn't found out ages ago. Leon and Loyd spend all their spare time at the arcade I don't think they have ever studied for a exam. I'm surprised that their parents haven't been informed by the school for the bad grades, they both get the worst marks on any test in our entire class.

"If we don't get a high grade on the next exam they are going to stop our allowance" cried Loyd

Leon and Loyd aren't the smartest people in the class in fact the highest they have ever got on a test is around two to thirty marks at best. Hoping for them to get a higher mark than that is a high stretch, they barely have the patience or concentration to study. If they did they would probably have a better mark on any test.

"Ouch. Looks like your going to have to take studying serious for once" I said

"No allowance means we can't play at the arcade" cried Leon

"This is all our little sister's fault if she had kept her fat mouth shut our parents wouldn't of found out" said Loyd

Leon and Loyd aren't going to forgive their sister anytime soon. I does make you wonder how did their sister even know they played at a arcade after school? I mean I didn't until they let it slip one day. It might just be repeat of what happened with me that it just slipped out by accident when they were talking with their little sister.

We continued talking until our home room teacher arrived and everyone took their seats as he was taking the register. My morning lessons consists of: Literacy, Maths then History just before lunch. All through lunch both Leon and Loyd kept complaining about the fact they wouldn't be able to play games at the arcade and instead have to study.

The afternoon lessons consists of: P.E for a entire hour and that's the only lesson we have in the afternoon. After school I bid farewell to both Leon and Loyd, made my way home. It was only a thirty minute walk from school to my home as I lived close to the school.

Once I arrived home I instantly sit on the sofa the moment I entered the living room. I usually just come home make myself some dinner, then after eating I would just go to my room to either do some homework or read a book or two before I go to bed, this has been my usual routine for a couple years now.

"These past couple of days have been tiring" I muttered

While I was sitting on the sofa I looked at old family photo that was hanging on the wall it was taken well over ten years ago when my entire family was whole. It was such a happy time back then, I was only four at the time and my sister had just turned ten. The photo was taken a day after her birthday.

"My sister really did look like our mother" I muttered.

My mother: Ronna Astral, she was previously know as Ronna Ao. She was taller than the average woman, slim with a huge chest, she had fair white skin with a good complexion, she had long brown hair that fell to the middle of her waist and brown eyes. I do have to admit that she was beautiful.

When she was only twelve she lost her parents in a war with another human country at the time. She had no other relatives to take care of her she was left utterly alone, the town's mayor took her in and raised her as his own. She met my dad when she was around my age, she had only recently graduated from high school with the highest marks in her entire year.

she was being harassed by some thugs whom my dad defeated despite that she could easily of destroyed them if she felt like it. She was shocked that my dad would stick his neck out to help even if she didn't really need it, my dad left a big first impression upon my mom.

Her first impression of my dad was : a reckless idiot.

From their first meeting they met several times before they began dating and eventfully married when my mom was only twenty two. From what I've been told she had a powerful system that outclassed my father's in many ways than one. She never chased after a dream except to have a family of her own which she achieved.

It's very sad that my mother never really got to see us grow, what would she say if she saw what became of me or my sister now? Would she e proud or disappointed. She died a few months after my sister's tenth birthday, she received a serious and life threatening injury. She had been attacked cause she got on the wrong side of a powerful noble from another human country. The injury was so serious that she died within minutes of being attacked.

I didn't know none of this when I was growing up I was only four at the time of the attack. it was only when I was coming fourteenth that I was told the truth of what really happened to my mother by the former town mayor the very same one that raised my mother.

"I promise I'll visit your grave this year" I said

I had never visited my mother's grave not once since she was buried fourteen years ago. it's not that I don't care it's cause I had too much going on in my life to visit. I do mean it that I will visit her grave this year.

"That's enough looking back at the past I should look towards the future instead." I said

I got up of the sofa and began making myself some dinner after eating I went upstairs and put my bag in my room for tomorrow so I don't have to look all over the house for it. I began getting ready for bed, I laid on my bed reading one book before getting into bed.
