Its been half a day since the battle at the docks, Currently, Kariya and Ezra are staying in a rundown building in the outskirts of the city. after some preparation, Ezra finished up setting up a bounded field around the warehouse. officially converted the building into his workshop. though, he's never going to use it after today. he still needed a place where he could extract the worms from Kariya.

As the bugs got vaporized, Ezra quickly dual casted a healing spell underneath the bug extermination spell.
This went on for about a few hours before finishing up. After making sure no long-lasting damage happened to Kayira. Ezra pulled off his t-shit and started carving a makeshift magic crust that feeds him magical energy from Ezra's mana pool. Kariya asked rubbing his head looking around the room fixing his gaze on Ezra. "Well, I might have knocked you out and removed all the worms in your body," he said hiding nothing since there wasn't a reason to.
