The night had already fallen, and the last rays of twilight were no longer visible on the horizon. Only the bright bonfires atop Dragon Mountain and the fireworks shooting high into the sky brought a flickering radiant glow. From this distance, those flames should have been much brighter, but the clouds surrounding Dragon Mountain turned them into flickering fireflies in the night. As for the other Dragon Mountains hidden behind the clouds, they could only be seen as occasional faint glimmers—every Dragon Clan settlement was hosting celebrations. Even though some of them might not be fully clear about what they were celebrating, they were still merrily celebrating, as if this joyous time would last forever.
