Gogil of the Tenth Tier was defeated almost instantly.
Casares and Estori wore expressions full of dread as they watched the giant serpent lunge toward them. Their strength was about equal to Gogil's. If the serpent could defeat Gogil in one strike, it could do the same to them.
"Damn it, attack quickly!" Casares shouted anxiously to the many forces behind him, not daring to look back.
Only then did everyone rush to organize an attack, bombarding the blood-colored giant serpent.
Yet, even the attacks from the various coalition forces, organized into an array, only caused slight ripples when they landed on the serpent, not even enough to make it take notice.
It still lunged toward Casares and Estori without a hint of hesitation.
But suddenly, a black beam erupted from the serpent's abdomen, cutting across and penetrating out like a giant black sword slicing the serpent in half.
The moment the explosion sounded, the serpent let out an incomparably sharp wail.
