Summer Ford saw that he didn't answer and urged him, "Mr. Laurent, do you want to take the call?"
"Do you want me to take it?" Ethan Laurent replied to her gloomily.
Summer Ford was taken aback, not thinking much of it, "That's your personal matter, Mr. Laurent."
Her response was very formulaic, and her expression didn't change at all.
Ethan Laurent's gaze grew even colder.
Summer Ford, waiting for his answer in vain and busy with her tasks, simply turned down the woman named Leila, "Miss, I'm sorry, Mr. Laurent is not available to take the call right now. Please call back later."
Her ability to adapt was always excellent, and whenever Ethan Laurent was in a moody state, she would invariably respond that he was unavailable.
This was a very effective phrase; no matter the situation, as long as a woman was calling, it was applicable.
