"Then stop giving me that kind of look." Ethan Laurent snorted lightly, reaching out towards her again.
"What are you doing?" Summer Ford, having been at a disadvantage earlier, tried to move back warily, but Ethan grabbed her waist with one hand, pulling her into his embrace and dragging her back into the water.
His actions were straightforward, yet not aggressive; after taking her underwater, he made no other move, not even letting her go.
"Ethan... cough..." Summer Ford was initially furious, panicking, her hands floundering in the water, trying to steady herself with his help, but before she could press against him, Ethan suddenly caught her hand, placing it under his own.
