When Luo Ziling returned home, Ling Ruonan had already prepared dinner.
Luo Liansheng had other matters to attend to, so he wouldn't be back for dinner.
It was just as well that Luo Liansheng wasn't coming back; Ling Ruonan wanted to talk to Luo Ziling alone about some things.
"Did you make another intense appearance today?" Ling Ruonan softly asked as she served Luo Ziling soup, "I heard you caused quite a stir again today."
"Mom, you really have ears like the wind and eyes like a hawk. I got into a bit of trouble and you found out immediately," Luo Ziling said with a giggle. "It seems like if I did something wrong, you'd be the first to rush over and scold me."
"I'm your mother, the person who cares about you the most." Ling Ruonan said, her anger mixed with embarrassment as she tugged on Luo Ziling's ear, "Aren't I just worried that you'd cause a mess that's impossible to clean up?"
