From Su Yang's perspective, he must protect the Human World at all costs. After all, he is a member of the Human Clan. If the Human World is destroyed, even if the other Eight Realms are preserved, it would mean nothing to him!
However, from the perspective of the Saints, they must consider the entirety of the Nine Realms.
To safeguard the Nine Realms, the resources need to be centralized, and those who squander resources—those who are mediocre—must be eliminated through natural competition. In this way, the Nine Realms can cultivate more strong individuals to protect it.
In the long run, the Saints' approach is correct; only by doing so can the Nine Realms be preserved.
Yet, from Su Yang's perspective, he cannot accept this approach. Because the result of this decision means sacrificing the Human World and the Human Clan!
Thus, this matter has become a tremendous contradiction.
Protecting the Human Clan will eventually lead the entire Nine Realms to gradual destruction.
